    Agreed. Would like to see Hamburg beach and Woodlawn both opened up for access. Sounds like sturgeon point is same as SBH during peak times? Any issues with theft, boat security etc?     Some of them yep. Had the wind been down we could have and would have headed offshore out of the pass however due to a high south wind we fished the backwaters off the pass. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

    Went with Tony Fontana today, got blown off the golf and fished backwater. Caught a mix of snapper, jacks, lady fish, Sheepshead and finished with a nice snook.     Been contemplating the cheapest way to get the most functional rod holder setup on my boat. I recently observed the Scotty Dual rod holder setup and am wondering if anyone has paired these with a canon manual down rigger on a swivel base, Looks like I would just have to drill the correct bolt pattern and then could use them I have my down riggers mounted on the rear corners which have single holders on them, my thought is that if I used a scotty dual holder under them I could run my long lines, lead cores or dipsies out of the scotty dual rod while running my down rigger and its holder as normal. This way I would have no holes to drill. I would use scotties because they are cheaper than the canon's. Anyone tried it in this fashion? Any thoughts on pro's and cons? I would plan on adding aluminum plate for backing plates.

    I saw a clearance box at gander mountain in Rochester today with several jr thunder sticks. Purple silver and blue silver some blue silver with orange bellies.
