Let me throw this one out there. I am a right handed bow shooter-right eye dominant. I have a cataract in my right eye (surgery scheduled). During summer practice sessions I could function enough to see my pin and shoot accurate. It has progressed to the point I cannot see my pin AT ALL anymore....sucks... I attempted to use my left eye and obviously shot way left. I moved my site left and was able to walk it in a bit. Site is maxed out and I cant move it left any further. My next move is to attempt to shoot my right handed bow left handed, hence bringing my left eye into play. Although I shoot right handed I do everything else left handed, so I am hoping this is an easy transition. I need to salvage this season..... Any lefty's shooting a right handed bow?...Comments welcome
Hey guys just want to bring more attention to this. Any Rochester based guys we can use all the help we can get. Last springs showing was great , but we can always use more. Great cause, and great bunch of guys.. Great chance for Rochester LOU guys to meet each other..
Way big off topic I understand. But as a lot of us in the LOU community are aging I thought it might be a relevant topic. Any comments on the positives or negatives from those that have had full knee replacement surgery. I'm headed in that direction . Thanks
Great showing for the Genny Pen's splash down work party. A big shout out to Skip from Shumway for use of the area and equipment used to set the pens. And Sam (Dream Catcher) for coordinating the event. And Capt. Larry Hammond for his super precise boat handling at setting the pens into the docks
Headed down this week with the kayak. Mostly just to get a good paddle, but will be bringing some basic fishing gear. If I wanted to cast for bass, what is a good starting point..thx
Haven't been there in 30 years. Looking to take the Kayaks out. Is there 2 launches on that lake. I remember as a kid coming in on the east side i believe, about half way down.
Gill, I agree. This weather does suck ...HB..you are correct also. Its where we live. Adapt and overcome. Took the daughter to Durand Eastman park today to take advantage of the groomed XC ski trails. It was totally awesome. Great conditions and beautiful views. We had a great time. Hate to say it, but hope snow sticks around for a minute for a few more trips
Got mine today..Product looks awesome. And Nick is a great guy,who definitely cares about customer satisfaction and his product..thanks Nick. They look mint
Can't say enough good things about Rochester Reel Repair. Super nice guy, and does awesome work. Just an FYI, he books up quick. Which is a testament to his work.
This Corona virus pandemic is getting very real, very fast.Actually changing by the hour .Being pinned down I am watching way to much TV news about the doom and gloom. That being said, does anyone think this season is a bust as far as getting boats in the water, marinas being closed, fuel docks closed etc,etc...? For those reading I wish you and your families the best in health
Whaler. Thank you. Im asking myself the same question. Basically giving it away. Runs great. Just needs a new canvas ..but what is there is functional..and includes a dock on the genesee river for the rest of the season.
