Looking for info on hunting at nite with red lights. Do you guys leave them on while calling or wait for movement? Had several packs of dogs going crazy last nite but moon didn't light things up till close to midnight. New to the game and trying not to educate these dogs before they die. Great job on your kills everyone! Some awesome bucks taken this year. I have had a great, but un successful season. 3 clean misses and clipped a doe which I unfortunately never found as she dropped a ile of blood wher I hit her, a small drop ten yrds from that and nothing. On dry ground after hours of looking, i gave up. Gonna go hard all weekend, then focus any free time on walleye. Haven't missed a deer in years, so I'm kinda disappointed, but what can you do. Had two decent 8s chasing this morning. I had my 4yr old son with me when I set the stand, and didnt get to do alot of trimming or I would have a glory shot to share. Hoping to get it done this weekend. Good luck all!

Great deer everyone! Got back from Illinois with no kills and an itchy finger. Going out in the morning. I had a blast in Illinois and had some giants in range or in sight. Outfitter was semi guided. I will be back next year. Had a blast! They treated us as family. Anyway, time to fill tags!! Goodluck all!!
