I have a tethrd mantis. Nothing to compare it too so no complaints. You will modify what ever you get to work for you anyway. I didn't buy the predator platform. I used a primal v step and oak plywood. Cost next to nothing and working great. Ton of saddle hunting forums with good ideas. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I sat 4hours. No discomfort at all. I am up and down in a stand every ten minutes with discomfort too. Back go's to hell in cold weather. They sell a sling they call the recliner but I don't think I need it. You can transition from standing to sitting just by sliding the prusik knot down Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Sat for the first time last week in a saddle. Don't think I will buy another tree stand. Minor mods needed with lone wolf sticks, and a small learning curve but it's gonna be a game changer in my opinion. Once you're comfortable you can shoot 360 degrees. Very comfortable as well Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Check out the primal v steps. I got 12 for 60$. I like them already. I will be using a piece of advantech cut to fit the step as a platform. Stateland friendly and lite Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Haha good luck! I'm getting away from the set stands and trail cams. Not saying there is anything wrong with it. I have just killed most of my bucks in a first sit in that particular place. Going to run and gun this year. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I went with primal V steps. I am using a piece of advantech plywood set in one of the primal steps for a platform. Seems to be the lightest and cheapest bet. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Thank you! From what I read, spurs are illegal on stateland but I haven't read anything saying so on private land. I'll look into it. Do you have a set up you want to sell, or recommend? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Any saddle hunters on here? I have been on the fence on making the change. Looking for advice and tips as far as steps vs. platform. Also looking at climbing spurs to be a bit more stealthy on the way in. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Good solid boat. Paint is as expected for the age. Has an 05 9.9 mercury bigfoot kicker with controls. Fish hawk x4d, Lowrance elite 7 hdi Tracks with a triple tree, double dipsy, and quad rod holder. New scotty electrics last year. Dual batteries on a perko switch. Ship to shore radio and antenna. Has newer cover as well. Trailer has a spare with mount, and new led lights. Boats served me well, but looking for something bigger. $10,000. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Bravo for trying! Glad to see it paid off. We looked at the lake from wrights and turned my 19' islander towards owasco. We salvaged the day with a good bite there. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

Pretty much what we ran but no where near that action. Guess I'll stick with the same program and tweak things alittle. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
