Set up shop about 2 miles south of Glenora heading north. Hot step for us was a green dot spinny with hammer fly on a 220 diver and a flt kos off the 90 rigger. Ended up going 9 for 15 over 3 hours. Mostly a laker bite including my personal best laker with the scale reading 12.4. Great monring to be out, pic's coming soon. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

That type reaction could shy people away from posting reports, just my opinion. My class or ego doesn't have anything to do with the photo. When the fish hit the deck with a mangled face i thought it would make for a good photo at the time. Since I believe in this site and everything it stands for I'll continue to provide reports as much as possible, hopefully I wont offend anyone else. Mag dipsy tangling help
FishSlime9 replied to Custom Deluxe's topic in Questions About Trout & Salmon Trolling?
Is the screw that allows you to adjust the setting on the bottom or the dipsy loose? If its loose it will allow your diver to shift while its deployed and cause it to spin. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

Hit the lake at 5:30 and set up just north or glenora. Ran four wires and two riggers. We took our first fish shortly after 6, nice rainbow on the 180 wire on a three setting. As soon as we got it in the net the 160 driver on a three setting took off with a beautiful lls. We would continue to hit fish for the next two hours before we had to pack it in due to prior obligations. Ended up 7 for 8 with 3 Rt, 2 lls and 2 lakers. Flt spoons in grapefruit, green alewife and a blue/green custom all took fish. Chrome green dot spinny on the 225 diver also took two lakers. Took fish from 150 to 400 fow. Another great morning on seneca. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Was lucky enough to make it out each morning the last three days. Friday we started on the west side just north of glenora at 5:30. didn't have our first hit until 7. That came on a ten color but was dropped. Landed a decent lake on the 180 wire shortly after that and dropped another about 15 minutes later. Really wish i could have seen that one but cant win them all. Saturday we made it out with some friends a little later then normal. Set lines a 8 in front of savern heading north and didn't move a rod for two hours. We decided to head back to watkins and as im picking up my girlfriend grabed the dipsy and landed a nice laker on the 250 wire. My buddy landed a nice lls on the same sd/fly a few miles north of us salt a few hours later. Sunday was a short trip. Only fish was a beautiful rainbow on the 45 rigger, flt bright and early. All and all it was a great weekend to be on the water even though it was slow fishing. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Just like redeye i spend a lot of time on the water with these two and know first hand that they do it right. Get your facts straight before you point fingers pokepole and take the drama elsewhere. John was so excited he called me as soon as that fish hit the deck, he was screaming but not actually saying any words lol Congrats again on a fish of a lifetime boys! Got out with some friends Saturday morning on the Sandra D for a little salmon action and that exactly what we got. Hit the water just before six and set up shop in 80 ft heading north. Had a nice rip on the ten color over 100' and would continue to pick away at small steelhead and skippy kings out to 200'. Decided to head back to 100' where we had a lot of nice marks and bait which turned out to be the right call. Shortly after ten we started picking some nicer fish all between 100' and 110' right out front of the shoot. Got two nice chromers and two nice kings over the next hour. The steelhead took a ten color blue and pink stinger and the other took a grease trap on the 100 rigger( a first for us). One king came on the same ten color combo and the other took a purple dot spinny with a mirage fly on the 100 rigger. A great way to spend a Saturday! Had a good morning targeting salmon on the south end. Went 7 for 10, all LL salmon besides one brown. Everything came on flt spoons and bright colored sticks flat lined off the boards. Had a nice mud line on the east side of the lake and thats where we did our damage. Things seemed to slow down for us after 9, great way to spend Easter Morning!
