  1. The problem occurred WAY before the record rains. As I stated earlier- the Army Corps knew this was coming in the early fall-Maybe not to this extent but they knew!!!This lake was as high as We've ever seen it in November and December. This was caused by morons who have their own agenda who have no right sticking their nose into things they know nothing about. To those with property damage- look into the bill cuomo signed- there is a number to call. My father just got off the phone with Albany- get yourself on the list to receive updates about how this will be progressing. The article I read on this stated that even some representatives with the IJC disagreed with the bill- politics politics politics!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  2. I am well aware that there is a north shore, I'm just not hearing any outrage from the north. Our national propaganda news on all 3 networks have reported ZERO about this disaster. Still trying to protect someone's legacy instead of bringing attention to those who need help Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. My parents live on the lake in Wilson. Last September the Army Corps did a shoreline survey and spoke to my parents about how great the sea wall is on there property and about how little erosion control most homeowners had. They had to know this was coming, other wise why the survey? Coincidence? ... Feds- not likely-the sea wall is starting to take big time damage now. Steel piling 18' down with - 6' tall 120' wide 5' deep concrete wall- backed by a 3' wall up the bank leading to grass. Cost my Grandfather a small fortune in the 70's , the last time water was high-The cost to fix this will be staggering. The power of water and waves is truly unreal! Second only to the stupidity and selfish agenda's of the federal Gov't. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  16. Launch is no problem at all. The fishing today on the other hand is. Started off the pier and trolled a few miles past Wilson 80-200' water-trolling back now. One knock off- I'm struggling- should have ran straight to the bar but I didn't trust the forecast after yesterday- hope others are doing better. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  22. The Wilson launch was fine as of Saturday as long as you had some rubber boots, if or when the water rises both docks will be under water. Watching the big blow here on Sunday from back window and I'll tell you I saw some whole trees, docks,55 gallon drums, monster logs all over the place. Slamming around in the waves. The weekend weather is not looking good but if it ends up fishable use caution out there and be safe Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  23. Most Kings are in the Canadian water to the West in early spring and make there way East as spring progresses. The coho I don't have an answer for. I can never figure out while summer steelhead fishing out in the shipping lanes why I don't get more than a occasionally one. I'm curious myself if the captains who fish daily have success on them throughout the summer? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
