  15. The app it tons cheaper than the one book I found online - Holy #*^* ! Guess I'll be locking mine up with my guns during the off season
  16. Check out precision trolling - the trollers bible, you should find it on amazon
  17. No problem- no fishing for me this weekend but I have off next Friday and hope to fish- if you fish Olcott PM me we can share info and work together
  18. I don't know of anyone who specifically targets Walleye out of Olcott - if there is I'm sure they will keep that secret. About 8 years ago I caught one just shy of 11 pounds on a rigger, out in 425' of water on a free slider. Totally blew my mind. They can be caught in the river or off the bar. Don't bother asking for info about that- tight lips!! As far as olcott or Mexico- I would wait it out to the last possible minute and monitor this site. Those kings got to be making there way East. The only sure thing about olcott this time of year is the steelhead bite offshore.
  19. I used it when I used to run mono dipseys back in the day- I liked that the line stood out from a distance-stood up well- It's Big game ,tough stuff-Never tried on rigger. I do have some as backing
  20. It's capping- tomorrow's marine forecast 1-3 building 3-5 subsiding to 2-4. Not sure how big your boat is but that's rough as well as the fishing for most
  21. Good job! Safe to say you out fished most of us weekend warriors- what kind of down temp were you getting to the east?
  22. Can't help you with the lakers- never target them- haven't hooked one since May -and that makes me happy!!!! I marked zero bait and all the big hooks were down 120 and deeper. There has got to be some Browns inside- find the temp and Find the fish- if I could do today over I would have tried a brown trout program or most likely slept in- don't know till you try
  23. I trolled from 180' to 300' - took 2 skippys- could not find temp-65 degree water 75' down the entire time- pulled rods ran out to 425'-46 degree water down 75 out there- did notta, planned on a half day but easy choice to cut that short-boat on trailer by 10:30. Alot of cleaning weeds off lures inside- not fun. Hope others found them
  24. I hope that's the case-not sure how things are your way but here around buffalo the news says we are 8" below our normal rain fall- almost forgot what green grass looks like- good luck
  25. If you want pics this summer put your camera near a water source- the buck pic above was taken on a game trail that leads straight to a small pond -about 50 yds away. I have never seen so many tracks at this particular pond. The pic was taken at 12:21pm- I'm guessing thirst got the best of him. I concur about lack of pics this time of year but the deer numbers on this particular camera are incredible. Got to be the water
