  1. Hell- no problem yes that is depth I’m talking about- my boat is in Wilson so I can’t give you coordinates until the weekend. I’m guessing around 12 Miles Channel 68 and 72 Nothing to avoid that far offshore except freighters[emoji16] Feel free to shoot me a PM while in town. By the end of your trip there should be some inshore staging kings. The offshore bite will continue to the end of the season- good luck and safe travels Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  2. Thanks Brandon- been doing the walleye most of the summer- it’s good to be back where I belong with screaming drags. I couldn’t put another walleye in my freezer or all the old timers freezers I try to fill for them. The walleye numbers in Erie is astonishing!! It will be salmon full time now until seasons end Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  3. Good king bite going on- 370-425’. 6/7 on Kings so far-and a few steelhead mixed in .FF with atomic green crinkle doing the most damage.75-110 down Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  6. Struggled today- fished 7:30-2:00-went 2/4. 1 king 1 steelie. Dropped 2 other kings. Started in 140’- temp was horrible- 77 down 80. Trolled out until we hit better temp in 470’ where we got our hook ups. Temp was deep. Currents were CRAZY!IMG_1434.HEIC Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. It’s blowing hard out of the West right now- I’m passing till Sunday myself. The marine forecast actually says chance of waterspouts in the morning. 1-3 building 2-4. If you chance it be safe Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  8. Started out in 200’ and slowly made my way north. Found them at 9:00. We were out there all by ourselves until I posted Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  10. Someone always wants to piss on someone’s campfire. I’ll continue to revive my fish until they start fighting the grip and give them the best chance of survival- My kings when released today headed straight down to the depths- Take it for what its worth- By the way my glass of beer is half full not half empty right now [emoji16]/[emoji106]Gill-T Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  11. Spun on my waypoints heading back to port- took 3 steelhead and dropped 2 more. Pulling rods soon- great day on the water with my dad! NW troll put the kings in the boat. First year with a boga grip- what a awesome C and R tool. All fish returned unharmed Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  12. Loads of active Kings out in 400’ of water right now- 8 for 9 so far. Lost a beast. All fish between 14-18#. NBK spoons and NBK spinny with white fly. 45-85 down- pics later Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. If those walleye only fought like salmon. Take a look in the recipe section and find Adirondack bobs salmon chowder- It is phenomenal!!! Best way to mellow the salmon flavor for those who are not salmon fans. Its one of the best ways to eat them besides smoking them in my opinion. 15. I took my parents out with me around noon primarily to play with my new graph and escape the heat..Set up in 180’ and wondered that to about 140’. Bottom temp was all over. Marked some bait and a few good hooks. We took a rip on a dipsey 3 set-140’ with a NBK- and a rigger 82’ down Black pearl glow. Both a swing and a miss. I’ve never said this before but it was too hot to be fishing -12:00- 2:00 was as much as we could take! (Not the most ideal time to be going I know but my graph is all set up anyway.) 94 degrees-Not a breeze and the flies were annoying. I spliced 30# blood run sea flea on to my rigger rods after reading reports and had no issues. I also ran braid dipseys with only minimal annoyance. Lake is blowing hard right now out of NW. hope to be back at it Saturday and Sunday. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  19. My first and only trip out this year in April my 3 season old Lowrance HDS quit working. That will be my last lowrance I ever buy! It started shutting down while trolling intermittently last year and I would have to keep turning it back on until it just wouldn’t turn back on anymore this first trip out this year. I hooked it to all 3 batteries on my boat and nothing, so after doing much research I purchased the Garmin. The CHIRP sonar looks amazing! Does anyone run one of these units and have any opinions good or bad. Hope to get it installed this week and get back out on the water. Thank you in advance for any responses.
