You don't need a crystal ball to know the entire Great Lakes watershed has a tendency to get a lot of snow and we have wet springs. Raising the water level was a mistake plain and simple- every structure along this lake was built with the idea of the lake being at a said level, changing that level could only lead to harm not good.
