The mooselook thinfish is spot on stamping of a 44. Flutter style. Real silver/gold finish. Pile of finish options aside from the usual metal finishes.
Moosalamoo makes a spot on 61. Called the 61 gun. It's mid weight. Halfway between casting and flutter. Hundred or more pattern options Google AJ Bait and Tackle NH and go on their website for the most comprehensive listing on 61 gun styles. They have a 44 knock off also called the flutter gun. Not as effective as the thinfish
Kerosene attracts lobsters to beat hell. So well fishermen use to soak any parts of their gear they could in it back in the day. Outlawed now. Not sure how it translates to fish
OK That time of year to make room for new gear and unload some stuff I already have too many of. For sale: Mag10 STX Edge chassis (newest). Purchased from Cabelas mid summer while a digi-troll was out for repair. Only mounted on the boat once the boat was in the water each trip. Used in traxstech rails so it went in the truck and then in the garage after every use. Extendable boom, swivel base, still have have the original box and paperwork. Used for a month. Very very low motor run time. Practically brand new. $400
Still waiting for you to reply back about the Scotty holders with the traxstech style bases. Got the message you sent that you had them still. Sent a message back about shipping and cost. Still haven't heard anything?

Vanish is junk. Switch out to seaguar fluorocarbon. That will be easy to get in leader as the wal-marts here only have it in 20# or more for striper nuts. When your fishing here use a regular 300 yard spool for your leader material. Your not going to notice a difference for what we are doing.

Looking for good used Tekota 300 LCs possibly even 500s for the right deal. Also interested in any coho killers or suttons in 61 and 21 copper/silver or copper you might have lying around. Thanks
The suffix does have a deeper sink ratio. on top of that he is running 18 pound vs 27. The 18 is going to go deeper even if it was the same brand due to less bkowback and resistance

Aquaseal will give you the most effective bond with flexibility. Beats the crap out of super glue or 5200 for adhesion.

Looking for a digitroll 10 for a spare. Also interested in a digitroll 5 or a mag 10 in the new chassis for the right deal. Would require shipping. Thanks

I can say this much about plastic coating and take it as you will. Here in Maine our lobster traps are wire coated with the same stuff as they use on downrigger balls. When you are building them in a warehouse the smell of the new coating is very strong. Now... its not something your likely to notice on one rigger ball but these traps are 5 feet long and 3 feet wide. So 100 of them is a lot of coating. Fish might be sensitive enuff to pick up that coating smell on a single rigger ball. We leave our new traps outside to "weather" for a month before fishing them. If we just dump them overboard brand new a lobster wont come within 10 miles of them for a few weeks. I do the same "weathering" with my rigger balls.
