  1. Thanks for the report. My parents said the water was high, but the pics really show it. Funny to see an incline on the dexter ramp!!! Never seen that before! Haha And when I got my trophy and ran though the cut the first time.... clang clang clang clang went my antennae on every eye beam. Ugh! Everything comes down for me now!!! 5. From fly fishing to browns, to eyes, to salmon and lakers... What do you prefer to use as a leader knot? I can tie both effectively, but have heard to get really good at one and go with it. Mainly began with Albright and a fly fishing buddy got me using a Blood because it's a bit smaller. Just wondering what you all think. - GBL

  9. Thanks for the response. I found the ultimate kit and it says it'll dive to 110'. I'm gonna pull the trigger and get it set up and run my fishhawk TD down the wire and see. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  10. Their website claims that you can reach more than 100' using the large ring. Can anyone confirm? I tend to have my dipsys in that area and was thinking of picking up some slide diver to be a little more stealthy on occasion. I'm planning to tie a length of mono onto my wire rod with 30# 7 strand. So the slide would be run up next to the wire and have the mono to slide on. Any advice is greatly appreciated - GBL Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  15. Look up Morgia Beach Rd, Sackets Harbor. You can keep your boat a few hundred yards down the road in my Aunt's driveway, unless you park it and unhook in my driveway. On a fishing weekend, for me, I just leave it hooked up and walk. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  16. I have a cottage outside Sackets. 5 min from launch. I have someone coming in on May 11, but no one before that. Don't know if that works for you. 17. S**t! I had plans to be up there this weekend to start opening the cottage and plans changed, won't be there for a few weeks now. Would've loved to get out on the water. Maybe some other time. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  18. This question is more about productive fishing: If you had a week, between mid-April through early June, to go to the Stony point, Henderson, Chaumont and Black River Bay area to fish, what would it be? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  19. I brought a 14' deep v with a 25 horse on it down here to get into stripers. Needs work to be ready but would have an open seat if you want to show me around. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  20. I'm in New Paltz. I have a cottage on Lake O outside of Sackets Harbor Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  22. We're changing out the bunk beds for 2 twin beds, sometime this spring. Same number of beds, just safer from my 2.5 year old who likes to climb everything!!!
  23. Just want to add that the bags will also help stabilize your boat. I run Amish bags on each side and the boat "sits" (so to speak) well in the waves. As advised before call Amish Outfitters or go to their site. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
