purpletacoflysupply.com has some great stuff. When it comes to making my own tackle I always just dive into it. You start off with couple ugly ones at first but in end you get the hang of it.

Do you use just one motor? A trolling bag? Do you steer with the wheel while trolling?
I run whole off my 10" spin doctors and 12" whip tails. I go with the strips off the 8" but Twinkie rigs on every thing. I always put the biggest flashers deepest and go up with size
