    I just bought a set of Cannon digitrol 10s which will be replacing a pair of Scottys on my boat. I'm really going to miss the tilt up feature that the Scotty downrigger have. Does anyone know if there's a mounting base out there that would add it to the cannons? I figured I would see if someone made them before I get "creative"

    Thanks sk8man I got was given them in a box of old tackle and figured they were sold as a blank. I'm going to give them a try for some pike fishing this spring

    I was wondering if anyone out there knows what brand or type these spoons are? I put a moonshine standard in the photo for comparison. They're about the same length as a standard spoon but much wider.

    I think big Dave is right on. I run a charter boat and I would be lost without. You could get away with not knowing the depth by fishing the marks but knowing your down speed is a must. I'm thinking about buying a depth raider in addition to the fish hawk just so I can compare the two when the fh speed is giving funny numbers

    With the count down to spring brown trout fishing starting I thought it would be interesting to see everyone's best brown trout bait from last year. I had a tough time for them last spring but my best bait was the storm jr thunderstick in prismflash gold shiner and got a few on a gold vibrax spinner with a 3/8 keel weight.

    You will hate a centerpin you first couple of trips (lots of tangles) but once you get the hang of it you'll never leave home without it. I recommend casting off the side of the reel until you get the hang of it
