    Nice catch!!..... Weather sure was crazy this weekend. We had a tree come down across the street.... Glad the fish dont seem to mind.

    I can understand the country clubs position on membership As it relates to the Clinton and Gates.... Democrats are an unsavory bunch....... Lol. Next thing you know.... They would have to consider the membership requests of women! Those elitist clubs are really a throw back to a different time.

    Any of the wind swept points and bays on the lake hold fish.... Usually some big ones too. Ducks are good when they are on... But are a long way to go for lousy fishing. Many good spots on the lake.

    Its awfully stressful to catch and release them this time of year even under ideal circumstances. Especially the BIG ones. Sadly, c&r mortality is a part of fishing and cannot be avoided. Happens to even the best prepared and most experienced anglers. This is a unique case but Im sure every effort was made to revive and release the fish.

    I was just thinking how much I love summer but I cannot wait for ice fishing season!! Hope this winter is better than last. Fingers crossed.

    Are u smoking those lakers in the picture buck blaster? I dont mind eating lakers.... personally, I prefer smaller ones for baking or broiling.... The larger ones I prefer to smoke. over 25-26" get thrown back.

    There is a HUGE difference in population density between a laker and a Muskie!! What exactly is your point, sir?

    I dont believe the average angler knows how to properly handle a muskie..... Especially in these high water temps. The big girl didnt stand a chance.......Even if they wanted to release it.

    The gills can get beat up when they are caught on spoons or smaller lures....Not sure if that was the case but sadly it happens.
