    I was chatting with my uncle about the dead muskie.... He is a life long and avid muskie angler..... He was telling me that there have been several dead muskies found this spring. He suggested taking any floater muskies to Dr Farrell on Governors Isl..... To Kevin's point, the concern is VHS or perhaps something else causing greater than usual mortality. Just a thought if you guys come across any more floaters.

    If u zoom in on the pic u can see where the presumed muskie grabbed this guy behind the first dorsal fin on top.... The semi circle. Then tore up the bottom pretty good. Impressive.

    I caught a 21" walleye just off that run that was smashed by a muskie.... I would say muskies are in that vicinity.

    I have never heard of it but it sounds like outstanding fishing.... Quebec is home to so many great fishing lakes. Many of the lakes are remote and the fishing pressure is extremely low... genetics and lots of forage provide a recipe for big and plentiful fish. Everything in Seems bigger in Quebec... The black flys, the tadpoles, and yes the fish. My dad used to take me fishing north of Maniwakee as a kid. Great fishing. Good memories. Good luck and have fun!!

    31 is the boat!!....And late 90s was redesigned hull with step. ( think it was redesigned early in that decade) That vintage big block sure knows its way around a gas dock.....Diesels sure would be a sweet set up. S2 yachts are awesome!! Maybe one day[emoji848][emoji848]

    Lol.,... I hear you Mike. Moving to Syracuse has been bitter sweet for me.... I spend a lot of time day dreaming about fishing now but its been much better on my marriage! Tight lines.

    My first trip was a business meeting in downtown elmira 2 years ago. Think I would pass on the fishing trip, lol. Love muskies too.

    15-20# seaguar... Is the ticket. Heavy zebras and structure I use the 20. 15 works well in most cases for me though. I just keep an eye on the condition of the leader.

    That is a nice setup..... I think the older sportcrafts , 80s vintage, were all i/o in the 25ft??
