First is it connected to the Lowrance. Second if it is connected you would have to go to sonar settings, overlay data and search for that speed wheel and add that to your home screen

I run fixed cheater lines every trip out. They make slider snaps that have a hard rubberized coating with a slit in the middle of the snap to attach on mainline that goes to the release. Lately the fish have been hitting the cheater for me and it slides down mainline and pops the release just as if it hit the spoon or whatever I have on my mainline. Sometimes we will forget and just throw it on as a free sliding cheater but another way is to get rubber bands and use those but sometimes they don't snap so it could make a mess of things quickly.

From my understanding it was sold out last year to a person who still sells some of there product. I don't know who in general but I was also at the Avon Flea Market and a gentleman there has boxes on to of boxes of there spoons from the C-5's to the Mags so I have no idea what the deal is there

Not only that but the truckers who are hired to deliver the fuel have to add the ethanol to the tankers themselves. My buddy does this and told me that there is really no way of knowing exactly how much ethanol they are adding to make the ratio of 10% so it could be more or less. Plus our fuels prices would be even lower without the ethanol cause it costs more to refine it.

I think here in Henrietta it was in the $2.90 range. I think they started that due to all the complaints with lawn mowers and small engines burning up from the ethanol. It also gives them one hell of an edge cause I haven't seen 87 ethanol free any place else

Ha I don't feel bad. I looked at the wind report and said to the wife lets go out for a bit so we hit the outlet of Irondequoit at 330 and got past the dredge and went WTF. East winds and blowing hard but we gave it a shot for an hour and a half. Got 1 8# laker and wife fought it. Once in the net she was chumming so that was it headed in and got back to the bay, southwest winds and a 20 degree difference -

My experience has mostly been on the less action hole. The biggest thing I change up is size or to a board that flutters versus spins.

Yah mine are atleast 28-30". I never tried it but I bet I could stop my boat if I put out the second one. Very well built and I don't think I will ever have the need to replace them. Well worth the money for sure, that is one thing that is hard to say about fishing gear

This topic has come up every season and almost at every tourney. You will be safe. Best bet is to wait til the big guys go and the wake settles then go. I used to be that way then I bought a bass boat, yah you learn really quick how to control a boat during a shotgun start between the wakes and speed. -

Amish trolling bags are the way to go. I have a Trophy 2703 with an offshore setup (Twin Outboards) and I can get to 1.5 on a single motor but I would rather run both for steering control and ease of increasing speed when I need to. Most of the time I am just running a single bag as well.

I am sorry for falling behind and missing this thread. Not that I entered and probably should have but I have a 27' boat with an 8'6" beam and run to riggers and 6 others rods at one time generally. So if the guy who started this is afraid because he can't run enough gear in the water there are 2 simple things he can do. 1.) don't enter and 2.) buy a bigger boat then. Oh yah forgot I usually don't get out of my seat to set anything up, I have usually one guy sometimes 2 working the back of the boat so does this mean I have to enter the Pro division. Rhetorical question obviously. If your intimidated by the size and the amount of gear then simply don't join it. I am no pro by any means, learning stuff every time I go out and I have been fishing the lake for 30 years. Sometimes I get lucky which is actually most of the time and other times well it's fishing. I don't have my license yet but damn straight I run MY boat just as if I did reguardless of space and how many other guys are around me bigger and smaller. A lot of the regulars don't know me but in this season or the next they will hear my name thrown around just as other names are mentioned every day. Simple matter of the fact is get your confidence up and your programs straight, throw your money in the pot and go fishing and don't think of it as a tournament just FISH !!!!!! -
