Launched at T-Falls at 9:15am, pulled out at 3:20pm. Outside the launch area water temp was 39.9 deg. Trolled north into 43 deg water. Caught 6 Lakers and 1 LL. all lakers came on downrigger between 80 and 120 feet down over 200 fow. LL came on lead core 10 colors out. All on spoons with purple/yellow hitting most. Stick baits on planer boards did nothing. Beautiful day on the lake, only saw one other boat. Never used cowbells before today. Two of the lakers came on them. -
Launched at Taughannock at 10am on 3/7/16. Pulled out at 3pm. Trolled mostly south from 150fow to 350fow. No matter where we were the surface temp stayed at 38.7deg. Water level seems to be up a little from February 2nd (the last time I launched here). Much easier getting the boat back on the trailer. Picked 5 LL, one was 20" and the other 4 were 14"-16". The 20 came at 75' down with purple spoon. All smaller ones were on lead core, 7 colors out and spoons. We have always fished Keuka when fishing the FL. Switching to Cayuga. Always jigged for Lakers end of March through April. Can anyone tell me about jigging for Lakers on Cayuga?

Can anyone tell me what to expect at the public launch in Pt. Breeze? My guess is that the ramp is clear but the docks are not in place. This week's weather is just screaming to go fishing. Thanks for any info. -

Fished north end of Sodus bay from 25 FOW to 45 FOW from 7am till 1pm. Used crawlers and minnows. Caught lots of 4-6 inch perch, caught 2 that were 10 inch and 1 pike. Saw 3 other boats perch fishing. FYI - the docks at the public launch (next to Arney's Marina) have been taken out. The dock at the coast guard station is also out. Big ones soon! -
Going to be on Sodus Bay bright and early on 10/21. Will let everyone know how we do on the perch.
