Took my boat in to have my two motors winterized. 90hp two stroke and a 9.9 four stroke. $380.00, couldn't believe it. Never paid more than $200.00 in the past. Been bringing it to them four 20+ years.
We fished Mexico last week. Got out Tuesday thru Friday. Were got skunked the first two days. Then Thursday boated 3 kings and 1 king on Friday. Those fish were caught between 40'-60' of water, down 20'-27'. Spoons on all four. Right in front of the river. Good luck. We'll be back next year.
I'm heading over this Saturday for my annual weekly fishing trip. How has the fishing been and the wind doesn't look that great next week. I only have a 19 footer. Any advise is appreciated.
Heading to Pulaski after Labor day weekend for a week of fishing. I'm from Vermont. Does anyone know of a good mechanic in that area who could replace my built in fuel tank? I have a 1992 Sea Nymph 195GLS. It's a plastic 29 gallon tank. Mechanic here in Vermont removed it last winter and has been jerking me off ever since. Not sure if he will give me my old tank back. Presently running off a portable tank. I'd gladly leave my boat there if someone knows of a mechanic. Any help is appreciated.
I don't have the dimensions or the tank. Dropped it off at fabricator mid May. He hasn't gotten to it yet. Been using a 6 gallon tank. A real pain in the ass. I'm going to Lake Ontario right after Labor day. Keeping my fingers crossed. Thank you
I have a 1992 Sea Nymph GLS195. Bought it brand new and been very happy with it. I live in Vermont and fish Lake Champlain a ton and hit Lake Ontario every fall for a week. Just got back and discovered my fuel tank has a leak. Time to replace it. Does anyone know where I could get it done or I'm thinking, I may try to change it myself. Any ideas where I might buy a new fuel tank? Any ideas or advise is appreciated.

Hey, I'm heading over to Pulaski, New York this coming Saturday for a week. Does anyone know of someone in the area that could put a new motor on my rigger?
Thank You
Kevin
Dave is the real deal. I've been using his spoons for 20+ years with great success. If you email him, he'll get right back to you. Last fall I asked him to bang out a certain spoon he hasn't done in years. He had no problem with that. Give him a try.
I have a two battery system in my boat. The main motor has its own battery. Nothing else hook to it. The kicker has charging system and maintains the accessory battery. Hasn't failed me yet. Take care and good fishing
Hey Nympho,
I have a 1992 GLS 195. I'm in Vermont and the boat is presently wrap for the winter. I'm 99% sure I have the original brochure that came with it. I bought it new. I'll look tonight for it. I can make a photo copy of it and mail it to you. Totally surprised your floor isn't aluminum. Mine is. Love the boat. it handles Champlain and Ontario just fine. Catches lots of fish.
I have two batteries on my boat. They are isolated. One battery is just for the main outboard and the other is for everything else. I've had no problems in twenty-six years.
Like Bozeman Bob said, if isolated it doesn't matter.
Updating my electronics
Going to be updating my electronics next season. Presently I have a Eagle 420 fish finder and a Eagle GPS. Not sure of the model number. Want to go with a combo unit to make room for a fish-hawk. What would you guys recommend? Would like to stay under $800.00 for the combo unit. Would appreciate your advise.
Thanks
Kman
