  1. Got out early at 630am and headed east. We immediately got a hit on a green bay rat on the board and to my surprise it was a steelhead. Water was just about 41 on the surface. We continued to head east but the water got clear where we could see the bottom from 20 fow so we shot out to 60 fow, reset for Lakers with cowbells and gambler magnums. We dropped the balls until they hit the bottom and went up 5 feet and boated 3 Lakers and lost 2 more in a few hours. temps were 41 on the bottom of 65 fow dipseys with spoons at 50 did nothing same with the spoons on the stackers.

  2. I fished from Webster park to ibay Saturday pm and picked up a few browns first time out. Water is gin clear though and making fishing for brown tough.
  3. Post your report is you go! I am thinking of going out Saturday morning if the brown bite doesn’t pick up on the big O
  4. The clutch circled below on one of my cannon dual cranks finally deteriorated and needs to be replaced. does any one have one lying around for parts or have a link to the owners manual so I can try to find the parts? tha ks in advance
  5. Does anyone know where I can get a clutch for this model?
  6. We got on the PM bite because I wasn’t going out on the lake until it was above freezing. That’s my lower limit.
  7. Oh yeah.. sorry. water had a good stain and no mudline surprisingly after the waves on Friday! Water 10ft down was 39.1 to .9 depending on the location.
  8. A pretty successful shakedown trip! Had some electronics issues with the fish hawk and fish finder overlapping! Had to switch some frequencies and everything worked perfectly! picked up these 2 browns as part of a double header. One on a rigger 10 feet down 50 back in 20 fow on a greasy chicken wing stinger and the other hit on the planer right after on a small black and white rapela. We were right in front of ship builders creek when they hit.
  9. Be sure to checkout the WindAlert app!
  10. I run a clear and a black slide diver and use the ultimate accessory kit come summer to get deep when necessary.
  11. Gambler rigs all day!
  12. I will take lot 1
  13. I really got bit by the flasher spin-n-glo setup this spring to the point I started making my own skirts. I find they really extend the morning bite once the fish aren’t as active. I see on eBay some folks sell them without a skirt all rigged up with beads. Do folks use them without skirts on the FLX?
  14. I would love to buy a X2 local instead of online as I live in rochester. Any suggestions?
  15. Ebay All day. Soak them in windex for a few days and they clean up nice

    Canandaigua Strange Trip

Fished Sunday on the south end and just trolled north with a pretty strong wind at our backs! We only got 1 on the boat but had 7 releases in 3 hours. I modified a couple DW silver mags with brushed aluminum look paired with glow spindoctors that get lots of hits but I feel they are too big causing a lot of misses. Next year I am going to pick up a couple silver DW’s non mags and modify them. Tomorrow we are determined to try out rain program on south end of keuka lake and then we put the boat away until next year. thanks for all the post’s on this thread it’s been great!
  17. Who ever buys these I will pay $20 for the candy corn DW

    Canandaigua Strange Trip

This is my first fall fishing the finger lakes and today was my first trip at the northend because I wanted to avoid the FLTA tournament in woodville! We found water temps in the 40s about 90 feet down and started our laker program with cheaters on the upper lines for about an hour with no luck. We switched up things a bit and put on my glow green spindoctor with a silver mag and immediately we got a release and then another with 2 lakers. about 930 we swapped out to the flasher fly program at the same depths and we pulled up 2 nice rainbows. Maybe the temps changed but what were those bows doing down so deep? strange.
  21. Interested if you would entertain shipping them to rochester
  22. Typically at this point the current is strong with the gates open. You might have better luck at the state park
  23. You can almost see my house! It’s a hidden gem the farther up you go.
  24. It was a pretty morning!
  25. I have been trying to put together a spin n glo program after the morning bite for a few weeks and have absolutely no luck! Today out in front of taughannock falls my oldest and I decided to stay out until 11:30 working on said program and boy did it pay off! trolling slow around 1.8 really was the sweet spot and today the wonderbread flasher with a gambler chartreuse spin and glo picked up 2 laker right off the bat including this big boy!
