    I think that map may be misleading. This was taken from the DEC website: Available hunting lands include (links leave DEC's website): Buttermilk Falls State Park (bowhunting and crossbow hunting only) Robert H. Treman State Park (bowhunting and crossbow hunting only) Hunters with legal access to private lands in the DMFA may also participate in the DMFA program. There are no state forests or wildlife management areas within the DMFA. http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/82382.html It may be worth a call to the local office in Cortland. I know the purpose of the trail was to connect Taughannok State Park to Cass Park, and it's generally pretty well-used by hikers.

    The only public ground available are those two parks, and they are archery only. Access/permission for private land can be difficult. Good luck

    Did well on Sailfish off Ft. Lauderdale in May 2008. Flying kites about a mile off the beach - brought 5 to the transom, one measured 78". Lots of Kingfish around too. Unfortunately I don't remember who we fished with - went down the the docks and jumped on a boat one morning.
