I was out today near Oswego, wasn't even marking any... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Sweet! What were you getting them on? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I never fish that area so I can't give you any solid advice, I'd just try and mark them anywhere from 15 to 25 FOW or even deeper and drop shot either live bait or finesse baits like robo worms Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Sweet. I picked up a couple different spinnerbaits today including that T1. Kinda pricey but the feedback from this thread has me convinced. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

That's what I normally do - 18 to 24" fluoro attached to micro barrel swivel because I don't like casting a knot through guides. But I know I should get more used to doing it anyway Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

What length do most of you guys use for a fluoro leader? I have gotten so used to using strike king spinnerbaits with success that it's pretty much all I seek out now, but with the suggestions in this thread I'll branch out. Although the Banshees may be flimsy after a while, I think they look great in the water. I have a couple Revenge spinnerbaits that are super flimsy and I haven't caught a thing on - I wouldn't seek them out but I could give them a fairer chance. The soft plastic bite is undeniable, once you find them...sometimes it's painfully slow fishing that I get fed up with after half an hour and need to go back to covering water with my go-to spinnerbait approach. I'm not a tournament guy so more than anything, I just want to enjoy my time on the water, and for me covering water is my favorite option Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Ok now Terminator is on my list to try...I assume they aren't hard to find? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Even around here though bass are hitting spinnerbaits all year, especially spring and fall. Still getting them in 80+ degree water with them too. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Most of my setups are braid + fluoro leader Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Here's what was left of it Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I've only had the one Banshee break and I'm sure it was from the wire straightening out on bigger fish and pushing it back into place, combined with using braid/fluoro leaders. That'd be the advantage to having a closed loop, it's just a stronger design. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Out of convenience I use almost exclusively Strike King spinnerbaits whether just the regular name, Banshee or KVD. Earlier in the spring I had a Banshee break right off at the wire on a bass that was probably 1.5lbs. When you catch big fish and they straighten that wire out and you keep pushing it back into place, it obviously weakens it each time. I estimated about 20 fish on that spinnerbait though before it broke. I need to experiment more with different spinnerbaits but it's hard for me to spend $10+ on one Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Lund Seats (broken at hinge) from 2010 Rebel
krux5506 replied to krux5506's topic in Classifieds - Buy, Sell, Trade or Rent
Couldn't find a number on their site so I emailed them last week - no response. From what I've heard, they'd take them back and fix them for free but it could take a while. What I did instead was buy newer ones off eBay that come standard on 2014/15 models. They have a big metal hinge rather than the small screw design of these seats. Any offers will be considered or possibly trades, not looking to make money on these but throwing them out seems like a shame Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Lake Ontario United mobile app -
I'm selling two Lund folding seats that fell apart while being trailered to Quebec. I assume the shaking and bumping on the trailer caused the bolts/hardware to come loose and fall out of place. The backrest would have to be slightly ripped up and stapled back into place to put them back together the way they were. They are perfectly fine aside from where they fold, and they are about $220 apiece new. I know a lot of guys on here could either fix them with Lund's hardware or rig them up better than they originally were designed. I however don't have the patience for that, quite honestly. Shoot me an offer if interested. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Lake Ontario United mobile app
