Jay Ve had a new owner as of last year sometime. In fact I don't think he even ran it for a year before closing very recently. He was a nice guy but that's a tough spot to run a bait shop. I live around the corner so I'd stop in here and there. Kinda sucks they are closed but I'm not surprised

Selling my 6hp Johnson outboard. Motor is very clean and low hours, probably around 30. I was told it had 20 when I bought it. I bought this off someone in July of this past summer and used it on a 12ft aluminum boat and it runs great. Bought a new boat so I just don't need it anymore. Runs great, needs nothing. Selling my portable Humminbird Fishin' Buddy 120c fish finder. I bought this in July, used it on my small 12' aluminum boat maybe 5 times before I ended up buying a new boat with all the bells and whistles. It seems to be pretty accurate and is good for a small aluminum fishing boat or kayak. Clamps onto anything with a C clamp mount which is included. Are you drop shotting the shiners? I fished a bit further east of those bluffs a couple weeks ago starting in about 23 FOW and drifting into 15 and boated about 7 smallies in a couple hours of assorted sizes, biggest in the 3lb range. I was using soft shells, first time using live bait in years since I've lately been an "artificial bait only" snob, and also the first time in probably 15 years fishing the lake. Not sure if this is the right section to post this but I'm curious if anyone ever gets out fishing on Blind Sodus. I'm out that way every weekend in the summer but have yet to really give it a try.
