    A friend who owns a bait store told me that mendon is a good place... Ive heard it before but never actually went there... Hows the ice there? Ill go and figure it out where to go (I know better than to ask), all i want to know is if it is safe and what type of fish there are other than pike

    So I have a jiffy that I use and it works wonderfully... Until the last half inch or so of ice... It gets to the bottom of the ice and then jams and I have to bring it up and down many times... I keep the hole clear of chips while drilling

    Im trying to figure out where to go tomorrow... I know one place with good ice but i was wondering about sodus... Specifically near Connellys... Its shallow there so im thinking safe? If i dont get a response i might run out later today and Test it a few times

    I'm looking for a large amount of 30 lb mono to re-spool a 50w. I'm looking to purchase a 1000 yard or larger spool if possible... I will go with lower amounts though if anyone has it

    I use a non levelwind for saltwater fing and i love it! Id assume the levelwind version would be just as good

    Haent heard anything from my friend who owns the land... He is friends with a DEC officer so I should know something tomorrow

    Communication issues with my friend that owns the land... He talked to his friend who is a DEC officerike the DEC is going to come take them tomorrow... Another weird thing is no coyotes... 6 gut piles that haven't been touched in over a week

    Where are canal spillways? Im just curious and looking for something to do as ice fishing isnt happening

    These were on Rt. 19 around a mile north of 104... DEC will be getting call first thing in the morning... The only thing I can think isthat maybe an area farmer is poisoning them

    That's bad... That's extremely close to where I hunt

    The nearest road is about a mile from where they were found and neither had broken legs... The other deer was older but still looked perfectly healthy

    At the property i hunt there were 2 dead deer found... One was still stiff as a board so it hadn't been dead for long and found early today and the other one was found yesterday... Neither show signs of CWD and neither have a hole anywhere! We are all at a loss! Anybody have any ideas? The DEC is going to be contacted but figured id check here too... Attached is a pic of the one that was still stiff
