    Through some interesting (to say the least) circumstances my dad and I no longer have a boat slip... We have a 17 foot aluminum fishing boat and are looking for a place on Irondequoit bay... I have no clue what topic I should have put this post so I'm sorry if this is wrong

    im looking for a lot of small spinners (size 0 and 1 mepps). Condition doesn't have to be good. I will be using for small smallmouth and for brook trout

    I don't use leaders. I tie all of my lures directly to the main line with the exception Cleo's. Idk if it's worth the $20 risk. Triple me has never really done me wrong

    So... I was talking to someone in canada about smallmouth and he said that I must be doing something wrong... He said he and his buddies go out and just slay them and they're huge.

    I had him under the head like that but he kept flipping out of my hands (yea I know I should have just let him go and not worry about it but we all know how it goes) I put him in the water and held him for a minute or so and he went on his way fine

    Last year I didn't find a ton but I did find quite a few. The year before that I found a lot and they were all decent sized. I didn't get them jigging, I got them trolling crank baits. Just keep looking... You'll find them eventually
