And it wasn't cuz it couldn't eat I know that. It moves around, or at least did last year, with two other large bucks. It may have been injured or sick I'm not sire
Yea I understand that pelthunter, I saw this deer with my own eyes before the season I've also seen a large one in years past in the same area. I don't care if someone doesn't believe it I just don't like people biting my head off over somthing I just wanted to share
Thank you BSmaster. I just meant it to be sharing something which is what I thought this site was about. I didn't talk to the guy that shot it. My dad knows the landowner and got the pic from him. I just wanted to show it cuz I found it interesting. I didn't realize I needed to be perfect. Thanks though
In response to when it was shot that's my bad... My dad got the pic from the land owner, my dad isn't always the best when it's comes to listening, and he told me it was thanksgiving
Duckman, I did that because it's not me and I don't like posting pictures of other people without there permission therefore I just covered his face. It's just something that I do
I was just trying to share a deer that somebody shot. I guess I'll know better from now on. I'll make sure I put a gps with coordinates in it and make sure to put a picture that shows the exact time and date. Why didn't I realize to do that before?
Well I went out of the front of my tree stand twice and the next day I had a doe walk by and never look at me... It brushed up against my ladder it was so close
THIS DEER WAS NOT SHOT BY ME. With that being said... It is a complete monster. It was shot in Brockport/Greece on thanksgiving morning. Just thought I would share because it is such a monster
Ok... Can anyone who has an experience with seeing a mountain lion that firmly believe was one, PM me and tell me exactly about it. Importance are: time of year, location, time of day, details of sighting, your credentials. I'm going to start doing a research project in this... Also if you have viable proof or evidence saying that they are not here PM me also
I have talked to the Amish folk around the letchworth area (specifically Angelica) and multiple have claimed to see mountain lion. Unfortunately they have no way of contacting the DEC or photographing. I think I'm going to write some sort of a paper on this at some point as I'm a senior. I will do some more research and put my findings in this post. Also, the DEC hasn't gotten back to my question yet on whether or not I could shoot a mountain lion
