Haven't been out the whole month of June, I use June for my Boat maintenance month, Had a bunch I had to do, I'm shootin for the Derby's though and getting ready for Mexico,, Kings. My brothers been out with his buddy a lot and they've been killing the Browns, Salmon, Rainbows, Not much on the Lakers. They've been getting big fish too.

Took Billy Vs advise, Went and bought some Berkley Pro, Tried a ton of floro, and I can tell you there's a lot of crap out there. So far this stuff holds every different knot I've tied. Back to Back uni and a bunch more.

You guys must be using swivels, I've tried tying it back to back Uni knots for leads and none of it works for me, It all breaks at the knots, Wet or dry, I can get it to work with swivels but I don't like running swivels. I use Berkley Big game 10# for my leads and it never breaks. Lets get back to the Seth green rig, My brother uses it and kills fish on this rig, Constantly out fishes me with it, He runs two poles off one corner of my boat, I can run everything under the sun off the other side and he just slaughters the fish on the side with the Seth greens, Pain in the rear getting fish in but he gets them. We start off with his rigs to see what the fish want, When we find out, It's all in on what he's using. Riggers, Dipsy's ,Slide divers , Leadcore The hole deal goes with what he's using.

To each his own.

I don't use floro. I think all of it is garbage, Tested and wasted enough of my money to find that out. It all breaks with knots.

Wasn't a monster Brown shot with a shotgun years ago in that inlet by that marina? I'm talking maybe 20 years or more, Would've been a state record if it hadn't been shot with a 12 ga.

I figured the station at the 4 corners in Lansing would be getting it also, Even better for me, Both are on my way to the Lake, I don't think I could fit both truck and boat together in c&ys parking lot without blocking people out, So good deal with the other one, Also the other station is open 24 hrs. I'll bet it'll be cheaper there too.

I had the same problem. If I tied it to a swivel it was fine, Tied it Back to Back and it broke at the knot.

C&Y 4.01 a Gal. 91 octane.

I run 30# flea flicker and 12# floro 15 to 20ft leaders, Back to Back uni- nots work perfect.

C & Y gas station in Lansing has ethanol free gas, About time somebody on the way to Cayuga lake has it.
