Bottle redemption center in Ithaca, On the westend, Thats the only place i know of, It's to bad the one in lansing closed, It was close for me. Hear say say's somebody eles is trying to open another bait shop in lansing, Something to do with the town fighting it though. ??? I signed a petition for it some 5 weeks ago.

I missed the first day of deer season because of them, About ten years ago i figured i'd be cheap and have a dozen of them made up. Did that. Shot em for weeks practicing, They were fine until the night before the season started. Shot one arrow, Flew 25 yrds. dropped to the ground, A buddy of mine owns the bow shop where i got them from, He checked my bow over said it was fine, Sight did'nt move nothing. He even shot the bow with the same arrows. Did the samething with him. He said i shot the spine out of the arrows, Never in my life have i ever seen that before, He told me,,, buy those cheap --- arrows. We have known each other since we were kids. He told me before i bought them i would'nt like them. But like a dumb --- , I had to try them. I've been shooting a bow since i was 5 years old, Owned probably 35 different bows since i was 14, Even had two bows blow up on me, Shot tons of 3D shoots and deer with beaman and easton arrows, Never did those arrows do that. Don't get me wrong but, I'd rather put my money in a cheaper slower bow than to buy a cheaper arrow. The arrow is were it's at. Take a carbon gold tip arrow, Shoot something solid with it, It'll shatter to pieces, Take a easton or beaman carban arrow, Shoot the samething, Bet it dose'nt shatter like the goldtop dose. I've been through the fad of the shortdraws, The 1200.00 dollar high speed bows and all that fancy stuff, You don't need it. Stick with a bow thats a little slower with one sight, lighter draw weight, a good arrow and you'll be more consistant. To each his own.

I've owned those arrows before, Personaly, I think they're junk. I've been bowhunting since i was 14, Am now 47, I've never seen anything like them.... Junk!!! Put your money in a top name brand arrow, There worth it. Eastman, Beaman. You can have the best bow in the world, If you don't have a good arrow it's not worth a darn thing. PSE BOWS are good, I've owned a few of them.

The jigs we used were just white, No feathers, Lindy rigs worked good too with crawlers, Also cought them on rapala f9s trolling. Minnows were ok, But about every other one was a pike bite, Cought a ton of them too. We found the best was the jig with the leach, There was a huge rock out in the middle of the lake, like an island, Everyone fished around it toward dark, We fished near shore just pitching the jigs towards shore and bouncing them back to the boat, water was only 15' deep. Nailed them every time we did that, Only bad thing about that place was the skeeters, Those things would carry you away. Did catch a huge pike with an ultralite uglystick rod, that was fun.

We fished up there a few years ago, Killed them with white jigs tipped with leaches, Minnows too. Good fishing! For those of you that can go further north up in Northern Quebec, The walleye fishing is just crazy!!! You gotta try it once in your life, Its awsome!

Iv'e got some around my house here that are the size of german shepards, West Dryden area, Iv'e seen timber wolves in Northern Quebec and these are very close in size. I just seen two coyote pelts a buddy of mine shot this winter, He said they both weighed 85#s, Huge!!

Theres always gotta be one in the crowd, Maybe they won't come back!!

I fished on the egde of the junk and got over 30 fish saturday, Don't know why they were there though, Maybe boat traffic. FISH-ON!

It was nice chatting with you on the radio, Thanks for the info on the light house derby. We managed to land three fish. Lost a huge rainbow out of the net, Rookie net person.... Im waiting for the wind to change out of the south. The fishing will pick up again. FISH-0N!

We fished myers south 5/5, Got nothing all the way down to willow pt., Turned on a north troll picked a huge rainbow 10 plus#, of course, We lost it out of the net, It jumped out, Had a rookie net person. Picked up a 33" laker off portland pt on the wire,dipsy. Released that one for the light house derby. One more small salmon, called it a day.

Went out of myers at 6.30 to 9am headed south, Seen the boats set up on the southside just below bolton, So we set up just above there, Million dollar staircase, Went 10 for 7 all salmon, All 22 to 28 inches, Kept 3 of the smaller ones, Released the bigger ones. We lost some monster fish on this lure my buddy built, It needed bigger hooks on it. We caught the larger salmon with it. I did'nt think this thing would work but he made a fool out of me, I seen him today, He was building more of these crazy things, I think he's on to something, We used it flatlining straight out the shoot, I know it'll work off riggers or wire. He gave me two of these and said i've got two more than anybody eles. Im gonna use them next weekend up to mexico bay, see what the browns do with em. FISH-ON!

Does it make it ok for kayaks to come right up to the back of your boat, I mean 20ft from you, Had three of them do it last year while i was flatlining on cayuga. Crossed over everything i had out. Even grabbed my plannerboard lines and shoved them out of their way, I had words with them. They told me to ---- off. Don't get me wrong troutstalker, you had the right of way, These guys did'nt have any common sense and i don't think you'd do that.
