You had the engine rebuilt, probably high volume oil pump, or did somebody stretch the spring in the oil pump? That will cause the high oil pressure. It looks high on the gauge but it's realy not at all in the motor. should'nt hurt anything. But i'd still do a pressure check to be sure.

You guy's are all right! i do have tint on the side windows, but not on the front windows, I took the curtain rails out because i did'nt want curtains, Did that before the wife seen, that it had rails and got some crazy idea of making flower curtains or something. Also my last two boats had carpet in them, I hated it. Always had to vacuum after every use. This boat has two spots where there's carpet, i'd take that out too,But have'nt figured what to replace it with. Hi, i had the same problem with my islander too. Might sound crazy but when i bought the boat , the motor had a fram oil filter on it, It would idle at 60 psi, A buddy of mine at work is a boat mechanic, has been for over 20 years, We changed the oil and filter, put 25/40 in it, we put a mercruiser oil filter on, It changed instantly, 35 idle- 65 wide open. He said the reason why was because the fram filter constricts the oil flow to much, He told me not to ever run an automotive filter again! He said mercruiser filters were made not to restrict the flow like auto filters, for the purpose of trolling and keeps the engine cooler. ALSO he said the people that run the auto filters beware, The boats that run them tend to start running alittle hotter over time, and that causes oil slugde build up in the oil pan, you know whats next, plugged oil pump, blown motor.

Hey, i too have seen big walleyes come from fallcreek, seen a 11 pounder caught last year, huge female, they released it. In the spring like right now i've caught them up at may's point by the spillway, just to the right of the little bait shop there. some big ones get pulled out of there too. Can't say names but there was some guys a few years ago that put eye's in cayuga.

I just went down and looked for myself, the center dock where you load in and out was off to the right side, not quite sure what they're doing, everything else looked the same to me, I don't know what size boat you have, but some guys with the 14 footers are loading in over to uc point, mine's 22ft im going out of the old fords nextdoor to myers, looked good to me over there.

HELLO, has anyone checked on myers yet to see if ramps are open? if not can you get out of fords marina? I hate to haul around to t-falls when i live 3 miles from myers. thanks

You can change the counters yourself, you have to take the spools part way out to do it, it's simple. i've done lots of them, also converted manuals to electric, easy. counters are about 20 bucks.
