  7. And by the way whoever was out of sandy area in the Starcraft yesterday I’m sorry. I was at the back of the boat and looked up and out of the fog there you were on my port. My driver was, well, you know the story. Hope I didn’t screw you up too bad. That fog was thick Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. We went out of bald eagle and shot offshore as well this am. Good mix of steel and kings. All hits between 400-540. 10 color , FF, meat, spoons all took shots. Cheaters took a good deal of steelies. 13 was biggest king. 2 steelie around 10 Nice day but definitely foggy at Times Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  10. So above is the biology of it. Practically speaking they create clusters of “gunk” on your lines as you reel them in. If you do not take care to manage them as you reel in either a lure or a fish the fleas will eventually gather at areas like knots / rod tips etc and will eventually prevent you from reeling any farther. Many was to prevent them The larger diameter your mono is the less likely they will stick. We go heavy with our mono when fleas start to show up in June and just leader down appropriately. We don’t have much trouble with our wire either but it is always better to prevent them than to try to clean the line when a king is hot at the back of boat and you need 3 more feet to net Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  15. It could be. Every boat is different and there are plenty caught in faster speeds daily with meat but that was the key on our boat. I like you had limited success in the beginning and then dedicated my probe rigger to meat one day and dropped it in the ice. Took all day but Once it fired, confidence grew and it became a game changer for us over the next yr. Good luck!! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Now those are some great pictures of the kids Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. It is interesting to me on the fine tuning. I spent my first season really trying diff things with it and had moderate success. Last 3 years though I have used minions and big weenies and haven’t touched it. Just put it down and leave it there and it has been my go to. I will say though that on our boat I do not get many hits over 2.3 on our fishhawk down speed. I try to always be between 2-2.2 when running a lot of meat. Seems slow but the rods pop Good luck! Don’t give up on it Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
