  1. Thanks a lot for the tip.
  2. Nice job man. I was thinking there were three hoses that go to the pump? I have mine sitting in the box waiting for install that probably wont take place for a few more weeks.
  3. if the rain looks like its going to hold off, i'll probably get out there again tomorrow morning. I doubt this blow today is going to do much to the temps. went out from 6-830 last night, trolled mid trench-south with no luck. haven't been fishing deep trying to avoid the lakers, but may have to drop a few in the cold water deep and see what happens. temps are pretty well set up still down around 100-110 over 140-160 fow and crazy marks everywhere I went.
  4. I'd be interested in one and pay for shipping to sackets harbor, NY. let me know if you want to split and ship.
  5. After seeing the weekend forecast, was thinking about heading out this evening for a few hours. Probably will catch the same, but lake should be nice.
  6. Frustrating, right? I threw just about every I could at them last night. Spoons, SD/Flies, Paddles/Flies, big paddles/SDs, small paddles/SDs, twinkie rigs, meat rigs, cut bait, whole herring, etc. etc. Had one release on a 135 rigger pulling a Carbon 14, never came tight.
  7. Good temp. Good marks. Cant get a rod to fire
  8. Heading home from work now, should be out there around 17:30. I'll be on 68.
  9. Really excited to try out that torpedo steel from the salmon slam. I think thats a 300 too? Nice to see good results from it
  10. With the forecast for saturday and my inability to put a crew together, I'm heading to Erie to fish walleye this weekend. Hope you guys slam them out there. This is two weeks in a row now not fishing out of my home port, I'm starting to miss those 18 mile runs from Sackets.
  11. just ordered the EV-100 for my boat (wellcraft 200 w/ F200 and T9.9 kicker). Looks to be sized appropriately, but not sure if I shouldve bumped up to the EV-200. Frogger, what size boat do you run yours on?
  12. Patrick was the man! He did a solid job on the reel and you couldnt wipe the smile off his face when that first decent king hit the deck. I'll be pulling to have him on the BluTooth again next year
  13. Devin, were you fishing the lanes, or closer in? Glad to hear there are some matures around. I'll prob be out there this weekend, hoping the forecasted winds calm down a little. Got spoiled in sodus this past weekend with decent conditions and some nice fish, but getting the boat back in the water in Sackets this week.
  14. Great weekend, thanks to Nick and Theresa and the rest of the Sodus crew. Couldnt have asked for better hospitality for us out-of-towners. Already looking forward to next year.
  15. Just got the boat into Arney's this morning. Now at work for a few hours, can't wait for this long weekend! Looking forward to hearing some drags rip.
  16. That could've been me as well. Blue wellcraft dual console with cannon riggers and two trees. I was having a hell of a time steering and fighting off lakers into the waves, boat was all over the place.
  17. Fished solo both days this weekend. Silver/greens/blues seemed to be on. Sat: Fished 115-120 SE side of stony island. 49F Temp was down around 105, hit one decent king on a caddy shack on a rigger set at 111 and lost a good rip on a mt dew glow paddle/ pro-am fly out 220 on #2. Popped one rigger on a green dolpin mag but never came tight, all into the waves. Flipped around and started trolling north and could not find good temp or marks. Hit a pocket of 52F water right in the middle of the trench and immediately hooked up on two browns on the riggers, caddy shack stingray and lemon ice down 125 over 142. Worked that area for awhile and picked up two more browns and a laker. Sun: hit the lanes early, not a boat in sight and no marks/temp. Coldest I could find was 56 degrees near the bottom. Trolled around searching for an hour or so and decided to head back in towards calf island. Started a south troll in 110 FOW south of calf, two riggers and a wire diver down 95-100. Caught two skippies on the riggers (NBK and blue dolphin) and lost another rip on a mt dew echip/ blue-green-glow fly on a diver out 200 on #2 in 130-135 fow. Once I hit 150, I could not keep the lakers off. Was seeing some good marks around 85-95 down over 150, pulled the riggers up, increased speed to 2.8-2.9 and still couldnt keep lakers off. Had a triple on at one point. Lost a few that were probably lakers. Tried to troll back into 130 but too tough solo with the waves keeping her pointed north. Headed back to the dock around 10:30. Probably should've tried the numbers from saturday again before heading back to sackets, but was really sick of getting hit by lakers. Overall, not a bad weekend. Glad to get some silver and a few browns in the boat, but wish I could've capitalized on some of the hits I was getting on the divers. If I dont catch anymore lakers for awhile, I think I'd be cool with it. Trailering the boat to Sodus to fish Thurs-Sun. Will be back at it again the following weekend.
  18. Thanks Devin, enjoy the lucky country. Its been blowing hard this week. Sunday looks good. Questionable tomorrow, its ripping out there right now. Gonna give it a try in the AM, but ready to turn the wheel back to port if conditions suck
  19. No kidding, I was seeing some solid 3-4s in BRB at 0630 this morning before work. Hopefully it dies down tonight, supposed to building during the day today.
  20. tj, any update or fix on this? I am having same problem with my port rigger. weight keeps wanting to pull in towards starboard. tried three different weights and all the same. starting to think i have a bad twist in the cable. Didnt think it was a big issue until i tangled rigger lines down 120 on sunday, that was messy.
  21. We out for a short afternoon troll yesterday off the finger. Temps were gone, but fish still around. Had 60 degrees from 70 feet down to 120 over 140. 50 degrees on the bottom. Pulled all stingray/mag spoons. Lost a good rip on a 400 copper pulling a caddyshack. One laker and two shaker kings on riggers down 95 and 110. Shawn, good luck if you get out today, lake was pretty rough this morning when I left for work, supposed to build the rest of the day.
  22. Saw two the other night as well. Weird
  23. My plan exactly too Shawn. Heading out from sackets solo at first light. Looks like theres gonna be a lot of us out there tomorrow. Hit me up on 68, boat name "Blutooth".
  24. Nice work! Wish I could've stayed out longer and worked that water a little harder. Hope it holds for the weekend.
  25. I hit the lanes tonight from 6-7 pm with very little marks and no hits, temp was deep. Moved south of calf from 7:30-8:30 in 130-150 fow with good temp and marks down 100-110 or so. Landed one nice laker, a skippy, and lost one on a rigger.
