    Without a fh...i wouldn't attempt to fish the bar try your luck Wilson or olcott and run north and south trolls current won't have as big as effect ..try to keep your speed over ground 2.5 -2.7 if this isn't working pick it up a little I wouldn't go over 3.1 tho ..if u have any other questions u can shoot me a message I'll try to help if I can Sent from my SM-G928V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    I was able to get out Friday for a quick trip out of olcott headed east set up in 170fow ne..troll hit about 200 and had a tripple one small guy got in quick and went back to the 2 20lb plus fish 2 guys in a little boat...80 rigger ff and high diver 3 setting 240 back also ff counted for the big guys and moon shine spoon on 50 rigger was the smaller fish shortly after 50 rigger with spoon fired again 4lb c oho and didn't move a rod for another hr ...dropped a few meat rigs took a shot nobody home and had one ripping line but came in buttoned after 3.5-4hrs had enough of the heat and bugs called it nice living close to port ..today 6/18 headded to the same waters but dead screen and wind was picking up pulled a 2 small kings with waves at our back #1 dipsy..no ring 3.5 setting 300ft braid moon shine blue hulk not wanting to get to far from port turned around and fought the waves west picking up another on moonshine ice shadow but was just to hard to keep 4 divers going and speed so headed south decided to pack it in slowly around 100fow hit about 70 was about to pop last rigger (probe) and king did it for me 50down green hulk this time ..so lucky to live so close 8fish in about 6 hrs of fishing nothing great but fished comfy and didn't have to grind out long hrs...     I wouldn't dream of running 4 riggers not only the tangling that's too much going on to close fish spook..i have 19.5 I run 2 riggers with cheaters use to stack but don't like the extra pull on wire of rigger and rods in the way while netting fish..ill run 4 dipsys 2 per side space out 100 ft different run mag on 1 and #1 on a 3 or 3.5 to avoid a mess or 1 run 2 dipsys and 2 in lines boards...play with it find out what you r comfy with sometimes less is more good luck Sent from my SM-G928V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    I'm not sure about Wilson but we launched olcott with no problem yesterday...was a quick run to check my buddies boat out put some new gear on her ...we fished 70-120 lot of fish laying on the bottom and not active took a rip on d ipsy but was gone by the time we got to it ...fishing should pick up last week would have been ruff week to fish full moon and lots of East wind but olcott is a sure bet on launching ...good luck Sent from my SM-G928V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    I've allways known it to b secret weapon rig ...same thing ...any way purpose is when the fish r short striking and or ball shy ..u see them in the graph but not taking the bait ...u can use a 2 or 3 color rod to get 5-15 ft below the ball and have a better chance of generating strikes ..because the balls r not scaring the fish ...
