  1. Is this the same fish or a different one?
  2. You think they are bad now go to the lake and sit on shore during december/January during duck season.... This ain't nothing
  3. If only that were true... a while back (years) some guys tried to do a little "vigilante justice" on commerants on lake Ontario and got slapped with heavy heavy fines after killed hundreds to thousands. I'm sure you could find the article somewhere it was a huge deal
  4. Layout blind $50 Layout blind for sale frame is broken in a few places and has a small hole or 2 in floor. Broke very soon after purchase however I used it for a couple years as it still functions. Pick up or meet only located in Alpine, ny and work in lansing. Blind doesn't fold up easy $50. (Blind is wet from being sprayed off in the pics)
  5. Don't know why pic posted sideways
  6. I'll play because this is my first shot of 2017 thanks to this post 20 yards
  7. That's a rainbow not an Atlantic either way nice fish!
  8. Cowbelling is for sure not for the lazy man especially with hand crank riggers however I like resetting as fast as possible that's one of the reasons I went to bellis tackle bells aswell is because I can drop a rigger faster without the drag of the cowbells causing release to trip and having to bring rigger back up again and start over like I have issues with using luhr Jensen and hammerhead sometimes. Any brand will work but if I could have had my hands on a set of bellis tackle bells when we first started cowbelling on my boat I probably wouldve done it alot more even sooner
  9. Another awesome landlock! Nice fish!
  10. Nice fish! Great job!
  11. Mr. Green jeans and green night are 2 of my favorites
  12. Not dissing hammerhead here at all but i will say try the Bellis tackle cowbells aswell they are lighter and more fun to fight fish against and more speed tolerant
  13. White double crush and white/green dot
  14. Another thing to do is run gambler rigs behind Dodgers off your dipsys and coppers asleep to help pick up extra fish!
  15. I know it's a crazy question but you said your catching your leadcore... are you setting the dipsy proper like clipping it into the release?
  16. Good one Mike haha and I'd love to target browns over there too cuz we did good on them this spring but I've got a first time trolled going with going to stick with the normal stuff until next week a day after work then maybe I'll target Owasco browns
  17. All the Browns we caught were beautiful colored however this was the only adult male he was the first one to hit. Doubled with a 4lber then rigger hit a landlock as we got those 2 in then set up shop again turned around hit another brown and landlock and then it became a blur lol it slowed down after an hour and a half then we went to Laker water for a big. Could've boxed out from 8am-9:30am if we wanted to
  18. Here's a 5.5lb brown it let me load
  19. My phone isn't letting me post the pics on here I'm going to throw them up on Facebook though
  20. Harvey we never stumbled across a big landlock today we did catch some keepers though And thanks Mike I love when a plan comes together and when you can say your going to target finicky finger lakes Browns and find them! I have found though that mid august-late September has been my most productive brown trout fishing and they are beautiful
  21. We crushed Lakers 300+ after brown bite slowed
  22. 55 ft with a mix of sticks and spoons
  23. Add another nice brown
  24. Got on water at 8 one nice brown another decent brown and a landlock so far
  25. Not much to worry about most times.. I drag dipsys often when Laker fishing aswell as my rigger balls without much issue. Pick up alot of single strand copper and misc gear off bottom though
