Caught Rainbow and Land lock on 3way swivel and rooster tails. Fun on light tackle. Switched to lead core and dipsy divers tho.

I have it rear mounted by the main motor. Followed the directions.... when the motor is off it just shows a fish constantly middle of the screen. I think I got a bad connection somewhere. My over heating alarm comes on even tho the motor hasn't been running when the key is on all the way.. gotta find the sweet spot... probably why it don't work right. NW wind tomorrow.... depending on how bad it is I'm going to start at high banks and troll to Sampson. Might even bring some live bait and try the perch if I can find them. Seneca needs to give up some fish... they gotta eat

I was going to stay around 100fow with dipsy magnum down 80 to 100 with boards off the sides. Deep side copper shallow side core. I got rained on and came home... could stayed out and waited it out but just looked like heavier rain coming. On top of it I can't figure out what's up with my fish finder... when I was jigging the holes in front of Belhurts and just around the point but fish finder wouldn't show fish with just electric trolling motor on... turn the main motor on start trolling... marks fish normal.... don't get it...

I cut a few trees in Lodi and a guy showed me what he was catching Brown's on. Big tube jigs with trolling sinkers with a trouble hook attached to the other end. On that they took a 14 and 10 lbs Brown out of Lodi. I haven't been out to give it a try. Winters coming and the summer cottages are closing down to head south so we been busy! Funny my uncle lives in Lodi, also cuts trees... but they call me. Looking forward to Seneca dropping in temps. Fleas are still like rope on braided.

It's tough on Seneca. I can count the trout and salmon I caught this year on one hand.... 3 Lakers jigging and one salmon on a orange and chartreuse flat fish. Haven't given up on Seneca yet tho. Lots water to still try

Didn't mean down I meant out. Around those distance out it seems they won't go any further down. I think at that point they develop a belly and just damages the line if your hitting bottom. Not sure what happens after they won't go any deeper.

Fishing is slow. Marked fish from 6:30 to 8 working on bait from 70 to 120 fow. One good thing was they were huge marks in the bait! Picked up a 2.7lbs. Not big but it came off that school. After 8:30 bait went out deeper or scattered and couldn't be found. Picked up another smaller laker in 200 fow 100 down. Bites been slow. Glad to get some meat tho. Breaks up the monotony of Seneca and catching nothing! Back to Seneca later after the rains.

What size dipsy? Pulled a laker a little while ago 80 down over 90. Working on a south troll now but bait has disappeared! Bait was in 70 fow until 8ish

Nothing yesterday, nothing again this afternoon. Bait was 40 ft in 100 ft. Nothing working on the bait till dark. Smaller marks were in the bait. Most likely perch. I caught one trolling in the north end and a perch trolling in the south. Yesterday I worked the drop off down to just about high banks then west over to glass factory bay to try some jigging. No luck. It was pretty rough for jiggling but laid down soon as I got off the lake. I pulled the dipsy out of the bag and it was another #1 instead of mag so back to bass pro. Tomorrow I might try Sampson. Some reports of bows there a while back. Hope to hit some thing big on Seneca since the fishing had been slow

I can't seem to find the right balance, of course I haven't found a flat day to try them. They get what ever I am running way out to the side but the front seems to be lifted. I ran a storm stick bait off it with 1 oz snap weight 50 ft in front and it seemed to do the same thing. Tx-44 are the ones that can be used either port or starboard right? I planned on trying today but it didn't work out, glass broke first thing... always next weekend.
