Went out this morning with Capt. Bruce with a pile of new smithwicks and bombers to try on the lake it wasn't a long run east before we set out a mix of rattling rouges, B-14's B-15's and a couple flat A's. We weren't in the water long before our first rods popped we progressed through the morning with a steady pick we ended up going 17 for 21 with one toad brown about 13-14 pounds. There was no stand out color that worked better than the others but the Firetiger Rouge and baby drum B-15 boated most of our bigger fish as well as the Citrus minnow. We never got into water over 40 degrees. All in all a great first trip of the year!!!
