Got to come out tried the riggers bought 8lb balls way to light.. Ended up running two mag dipseys. Started off sandy pond in 90ft saw some fish on the bottom worked to 127 ft had tons of bait and fish on the bottom. Had a release on cut bait no fish and cut bait strip in half. Worked area nothing else. Worked my way to the plant doing small trolls searching saw one suspended fish all day. Ended up in front of Mexico in 129 ft an found a spot loaded with fish on bottom again. Started there Sunday doubled up on browns. Then being dumb I left and worked deep for salmon saw fish at 177 ft but no takers. Wind started and thought about the ride back to salmon river. So packed it in 11.30. Traded my balls for 10lb shark looking balls,hopefully be fine for next trip in two weeks.

Tangles arn,t my friend either! Had a fish last fall wrap up the other 2 rods knitted me a sweater then come off.

Coming up Sunday thru tues solo. Thinking of my 3 rod set of ff on rigger, meat rig on other rigger and a braid dipsy down and back with a spoon. Or should I stack a rigger spoon bottom 40ft back, flasher 10ft above 25 back meat on other rigger? Or one rigger ff and 2 dipsy one down middle one on 3. So many choices.. Figured starting at 100ft first light and heading out after Sun working.

All this work looked at long range calling w 10_20 sat worse on Sunday GREAT!!

If I were to run a 3oz slide weight above a spoon how far back and how deep will it ride? Run that on a planer? At 2.5 mph I'm thinking 30ft with 100 ft out.will it hit 50ft?

Did some mods for next weekend. Either running out from salmon river to sandy hit the 150 line day 1 or oswego. I can run my 2 mag dipsys down the center and going to try walleye boards with smaller dipsy out to side. If not send dipsy out on 2.75 back to were I see fish.

I have two church tackle walleye boards will they pull a dipsy?

Now with the one driftsock I get 2.6 mph if I double 5 gallon bucket tie front cleat and back cleat on both sides it will bang the side of the boat right?

No drift paddle but a release on the power pole will work well for flat line.

its a 250 proxs with 26 p 3 blade or 26p 4 blade, different boats mine runs 74mph lol

I here ya dealing with what I have. Going slower not a problem I can just put another bag out thinking off getting a tx44 board to open my spread up some and running the dinner plate dipsy down the middle and the regular size Dipsey 300 back on a board and driver side on 2 setting 350 back depending where fish are.
