  4. I agree with everything Fat Trout said. You have to keep the batteries charged at all times if you want them to last. There is no benefit to running them down repeatedly and then leaving them partially charged. When i bought my boat i bought two group size 30 agms for my 24v system. The second year i noticed that they would only last a couple hours before i had problems with them steering the boat. I use my bow mount for steering and a kicker for thrust. I checked the voltage after charging and they both seemed fine. I checked them after fishing one day and found that one of them was drained down and the other was fine. I later learned that when you have a good battery and bad battery connected together in a 24v system the bad battery will start draining the good battery while under load which is exactly what happened to me. I replaced the 30 series agm's with two 30 series from walmart for a third of the price and am happy with them. They have served me well for 3 years with no issues whatsoever. I charge them immediately when i get home. Also make sure you at buying fresh batteries off the rack. One of the agms i was shipped was 2 years old when i got it and i didnt realize it until after the fact. Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. [/url] His method works well. Just make sure you use the heavy braid between wire and mono. Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Get a hold of your taxidermist, they usually have extra frozen capes in different sizes. I had to buy one off of mine due to damage to my cape. Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Great buck. I know the deer, my buddy has pictures of it. I hunt the property next to your buddy but have not seen that one. Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Im pretty sure that you cant share a transducer between an elite and an HDS unit. They both have to be HDS units with ethernet or both Elite Ti to share by wifi Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Nicest one so far Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. Have you tried adjusting the one you have? Usually when you lose depth at faster speeds it is an issue with placement and not a defective transducer. Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  13. Mine are about the same. It all depends on your soil PH and how much you fertilized the soil initially. They will take off when you hit them with Urea. Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. 107 deeper diver is equivalent of size 1 dipsey with a ring. 124 deeper diver is equivalent of a mag dipsey Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. I used 50 lb big game on my rigger rods this weekend and was happy with the results. The fleas were minimal on my rigger rods and mostly collected on the knot where the leader connected which is to be expected. My wire rods on the other hand were worse and looked like the pics posted above. Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. I put a topshot of 50lb big game on my rigger rods this weekend and was happy with the results. Very minimal fleas on the line. Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. Fished from 9 to 1pm today went 9 for 12. Dipseys 220 to 250 out, riggers 60 to 75 ft down. Bigger fish came on minion meat rigs. 200 to 250 ft deep was best. Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  21. I can take a look when I get home and let you know my settings although I dont have the totalscan transducer. I have a gen 2 with the. 83/200 transducer. Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. I have 12 different leadcore setups, all with tuffline micro lead that I use for walleye. I originally tried it because of the claimed deeper depth and mainly because I can fit 10 colors on a 30 size reel. I tested it out on a flat lake and found that I was getting 5 ft per color at 2mph, not the advertised depth of 6.5+. I have regularly hit bottom in 50ft with 10 colors out. Like everyone else stated it is very speed dependent, slow down and it goes deeper. Needless to say, I am very happy with the tufline micro and have no need to try anything else. 23. Thanks, 30 or 40 lb mono? Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. Its 5ft per color at 2 mph, at 2.5 mph its more like 3 or 3.5 ft per color. You may gain a little bit of depth with more line out but with 30 lb mono it wont be much due to the drag of the thicker mono. If your backing was braid you might gain a little more. 25. I am headed up to Olcott on Friday for a few days and was wondering how the fleas are. I would rather splice in heavier mono for my rigger rods before I leave if need be. Thanks Sent from my LM-G820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
