Make sure you get a 72" shaft on your trolling motor. Don't even consider the 60" shaft, I have had the 72" come out of the water on occasion. My dealer installed the 60" on the boat and I didn't realize it until I drove back home almost 5 hours away. They mailed me the correct motor and I sent the other back. I have the 18 pitch yamaha reliance series prop on mine. It tops out at 50mph with 2 guys and full tank of gas, hole shot is great. I bought a 17 pitch reliance as a backup and I lose about 3 mph on the top end with that prop and the hole shot is marginally better. The 18 pitch maxes out rpms at wide open throttle and has a great hole shot so that is what I use. The boat should come pre wired for the trolling motor. The batteries are mounted in the compartment that is furthest forward on the floor in front of the livewell. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I would highly suggest buying one with at least a 150hp motor on it if you are going to fish with more than 2 guys. I personally know someone that had to upgrade to a 150 after being sold the boat with a 115 Mercury on it from the dealer, it was a dog with a full load. Smokeless muzzleloader is the way to go. I bought a savage model 10ML II 20 years ago when they first came out. Shoots as good as a rifle with hardly any kick at all. I shoot 43 grains of powder with a muzzle velocity of 2100 fps. They dont make them anymore last I heard. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

What he said. I doubt you will find a more accurate slug gun once u find out what slugs it likes. Accu tips are another good option for slugs with this gun.

Call starcraft themselves. I spoke to a lady there and she found the paint code and actual paint that they use and offered to ship some to me at a reasonable price.

I was starting to feel like a very stupid person who made a huge mistake while reading this thread since I purchased new. Having a 6 year warranty on everything in the boat and having a lifetime warranty on the hull were well worth the price to me. I have purchased a used before and regretted it. I could care less about depreciation, this will be my last boat and when I'm done with it someone else will get a nice boat at a fair price.

I'm currently using 19 strand with my talora diver rods and am getting pig tails in the line. Will twilitips get rid of the pigtails? The rods are always kept in one piece and under tension.

Lost items at Wilson cleaning station
Fishmaster 196 replied to Fishmaster 196's topic in Open Lake Discussion
Would you happen to have a number for them. I called bootleggers cove but the girl there didn't know what I was talking about. Thanks -
I know this is a long shot, but I was fishing out of Wilson on Friday and left behind a white tote at the cleaning station. Tote contained several boxes of gallon freezer bags and 3 knives. One of the knives was a large bubba blade, another large regular fillet knife and an American angler electric knife with extra blades. In total I'm out around 200.00 and am willing to pay to get them back.
