  1. I just brought a 2-1/2# Brown to Tom Wendel over here on Lake Michigan. Obviously not for it's size, but for the fact that it sealed a grand slam for our team, and won us boat of the year aboard team Time-Off in the SU Illinois club tournament series. It's not always the size of the fish that matters if you have a great memory attached to the fish, and I can't wait to set that little Brown on the Mantle!
  2. Here's a pic of all three, and all three, I believe, have been discontinued.
  3. This is the worm spoon I have. It's a different orange than the nightcrawler spoon, and half silver. That being said, the nightcrawler has been a great spoon as well! Thanks for looking, Finn!
  4. Thanks Finn, but I was at LMA yesterday and go there often, and they don't have any worm spoons in stock. I did find 3 silver beef spoons though.
  5. I bought the last I could find on clearance a few years back as well. I also grabbed the last of the worm silver spoons, which is the orange version of lemon seeds. If you have any of those, I will swap you for whatever lemon seed's I have left... The silver beef, which is a green version of lemon seeds, has been working well this year as well. Have you noticed the paint peeling on the lemon seeds? I think that may be why they discontinued them. Worm silver spoons peel pretty badly.
  6. Here is a Coho I found in the belly of a 15# Laker we caught in our SU Illinois club tourney on Lake Michigan a couple weeks ago. The remains of the Coho were 12" and it's head was mostly digested already.
  7. I bought the 14#ers and have to say they track great and have minimal blowback. Great product!
  8. I've been using my American Angler knives for over 15 years also. I think with any of them, using sharp blades will extend their lives.
  9. So, they're not 6.4 to 1? Looking for speed, not power. Thanks!
  10. PM sent
  11. Are these the high speed, 6.4 to 1 version?
  12. I will take them if he doesn't respond...
  13. I use a segmented lead core on my boat and I use at least 60-100 feet of mono between the segments of LC. Doing this allows there to be no lead between the reel and the inline board, otherwise the board won't run properly. I've caught many fish on this setup.
  14. For me, superstitions are more like traditions that were passed down from some great people that I have fished with over the years. I don't feel I need these rituals, but they can be fun. I have proven many of them wrong many times over the years and as wacky as they are, we still have fun with them.
  15. Very cool! Can't wait to see more. Having it hooked up inline allows you to watch the fish for the duration of the fight. That's something I can't do with my gopro, and a good reason for me to give the Waterwolf a try. Thanks for sharing!
  16. No bananas, 1st fish I drink a beer but the first sip goes to the fish gods, and to get me out of a lull I have a Salmon coin and a Brown Trout coin that I will give a rub. The coin rub seems to work well as I often get a strike before it makes it back in my pocket. Also, pretzel rods are good luck on the boat...Rold Gold seem to be the luckiest, lol.
  17. Nice looking attractor. How long has the spinny been out? I thought after 7 years it was game on for patent rights?
  18. Here is a pic of one of my housings. If you don't want to make your own I can sell you one. I have a few extras in different colors that I made.
  19. KJ, I will snap a photo as soon as I have a chance and see if I can post it here. I haven't had the greatest luck posting pictures here...I have done it, but they come out real tiny for some reason.
  20. I run a Gopro in a torpedo housing I made, running just above the ball. It is a lot of fun reviewing footage from previous fishing adventures, but it's also a bit tedious. The problem I see with the WW is there is no replaceable battery, so when you run out of battery life you have to remove the camera and charge the whole camera. With the GoPro, you can swap batteries and send it back down so you won't miss any action. I have seen some short clips guys have shot with the WW on Lake Michigan and they looked good though.
