I got mine back in the early 90s in Livingston county. Might be tough finding the paperwork

I hold a boater safety card from when I was probably 12. Does anyone know if that grandfathers me in? Would this meet requirements? It held when they redid laws for personal watercraft years ago

You can catch a good buzz docked up in Keywaydin after you fish

I’ll give you $7.38 in mixed coin, two red rubber bands, a pack of 30 8mm Great Lakes Steelhead Co. chartreuse beads, a vintage Swiss Army knife with minimal rust, and a Drew Bledsoe poster… deal?

You found a fishable trib when it was -30°? Please tell me the product you use to stop your guides from instantly freezing? Lol

Don’t want to just throw it out. I’m in Rochester, NY. Willing to just sell. But open to trading for some small stuff. Rapalas, marabou jigs, slip floats, etc.
If you know a kid or someone down on their luck that could use a rod I’d gladly give it to them for free. If you are interested and want some pics shoot me a pm with your cell and I will send em over.

What is your budget? You still want neoprene or looking to try breathable? You definitively want a boot foot wader?
fyi- you can more than likely search this question in previous threads. Same topic is usually brought up this this time of year again and again. A couple months from now it will be “how to keep my hands warm.” Lol

Docks come out at sandy soon

In theory slot limits on the salmon river may prove beneficial. Unfortunately, the same issue that allows snagging to continue will also be a detriment to any new regulations regarding size of fish harvested… there’s not enough man power to enforce the rules and ensure the majority of the anglers will be abiding by them. If anything, slots would be significantly tougher.
closing periodically would be the easiest path without considering the financial crippling that would ensue. Maybe have a lottery similar to Maine Moose? Maybe just limit the amount of angling pressure? -
John McMillan knows his ****. For whoever found this interesting and informative I would highly recommend checking out other works by this guy. He has a podcast, he’s made some videos, and authored countless pages of salmonid. All pretty cool stuff.

Sounds like he’s saying the fish liked that spoon pattern

Someone told me you guys put peanut butter on your jigs? Is that true? Peter Pan crunchy?
