I have a camp in ADKs , more land than u can think of . I don't even bother going up there to hunt to Cuz the deer numbers are so low. And can't shoot does. Why would I go there? If I seen a spike I wouldn't think twice, it would be down . I would be so happy to get a spike up there. That's why I stay around 8h big deer lots of them. The rut..... deer in heat is a deer in "heat". Hot or cold Temps doesn't stop her from going in her cycle. She's going to get run whether she likes it or not . If u don't see lots of buck action he's 1 step ahead of u . He knows who's going in heat and when . only way to find out is GO GETEM BOY... Sent from my SM-N920V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Been chasing tail hard for the past week got that over with a 8pt yesterday. So back to the swamp solo today and wish someone was there because the birds were all over . Had a flock of buffs come in and got 2 , then a flock of 7 mallards 1 was ahead of the rest so I popped him . Then a hen gadwall solo decoyed mint . Had a nice flock of widgeon come in and got a nice drake . I then had a solo mallard come in like he was missing the party and decided to drop on down hard from a mile up ,I let him land Cuz the landing gear was down and what a day to finish like that Sent from my SM-N920V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Well this a.m was hot for me. had a fawn and doe go by in a early morning. And around 10am they came back. They circled down wind of me checking the wind (they knew I was there) . I was sitting there as they were behind me 20 yards. Didn't see anything behind them so I stayed seated. Now as they are behind me I hear a grunt so I turn back a the buck is standing with the doe and fawn.... don't know how but he's right there . I stood up and turned (got the new xbow) put it on him and let it rip. He went 80 yards and fell over. He's not the biggest but now I can do what I love to do duck hunt.
