I am heading out to Cayuga the morning. I have been fishing mostly Ontario this summer so I haven't been Cayuga since early summer but I have a buddy up from PA and I want to put him on some fish. Lakers are generally easy but is anybody getting land locks and what depths are the fish running at Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
20. Aluminum boat. They were stacked real tight 3 in a row like tintin said mistakes happen. Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
The captain was a friend of mine. He's having a hard time coping with the loss of his friend. Water got rough fast decided to pack up and head closer to shore to avoid the Southwind when they turned the boat took three close waves over the Bow. Boat filled up so fast they barely had time to get their life jackets on before it sank under their feet. It's very sad. The big water can kick up fast he was a very seasoned fisherman who fished every weekend even during the week most weeks. He may never fish again now Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Trolled west side till 10 PM great screens ran all kinds of colors 15ft down to 45 9 rods no eyes just one cat. Lots of fish between big white house and camp with skies. Tight lines Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Oh trust me I'm rocking everything at every speed I have a little bit of everything just not luck today got another boat out with us today only boated one Laker Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
I'm heading to keuka this weekend to see family so I figured I would bring the boat. Any trolling tips or places to start for trout/salmon? Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Is it worth putting a heavier leader on my 8 and 10 color Lead Core? What depths have the Kings been at? Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
I heard the northeast wind messed things up but hopefully the West wind will help. Hoping to put my wife and my buddy on their first kings or at least boat some brown or lakers Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Any reports I'm staying in mexico this weekend and could trailer anywhere from oswego to Pulaski Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
I had a 10 color on with seven colors out straight down the chute and that was the most active depth Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
I don't know exactly what the deal was but we lost at least 10 fish on the ledcor down the chute. It seems like every 5 minutes that Rod was bent over and as soon as you got to it the fish was gone. Lost our biggest fish 10 feet from the boat on it. Even changed spoons a couple times to try to get a better hook set but it made no difference Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Took the girls out for a few hrs of trolling before hitting some wineries. We wasted a lot of time searching 65-125fow going 3 for 6 in the depth. Ran into 40 fow and marked all kinds of fish from 40-55fow. Couldn't keep 7 rods in the water with 4 people. Lost count after ten fish and just enjoyed it. Great day all around. All spoon bite. Blue and silver and purple and silver were hottest 2.3-3.0 mph. Mini divers riggers and 7 colors down the shute took fish. Only one fish on magnum dipsey which is weird for my boat. Those are usually most productive Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
How deep are the Lakers right now? Going to make my first trip since April tomorrow trying to put the girls and a few fish early Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
does anyone have any reports on water levels at the launches? looking to launch my 19ft i/o this saturday. Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
I went out of Taughannock Falls Sunday. 19 foot Bayliner no problems at all getting under the bridge the water is extremely low. There is a very tight Channel under the bridge but it's doable just make sure somebody is watching for the bubbler lines.. The bubbler lines are almost floating so watch your prop Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Taughannock Falls was open this past weekend but very very shallow. If lunching there is a galvanized pipe used to keep the Lunch open for the air system and it is only about a foot under water. It will be very easy to hit with the prop I launched with a 19 foot Bayliner got in and out fine but it is very shallow Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
