  1. Hey wallaholic. very nice fish I was just out in OZ this past week trying to get some eyes. Me and a buddy of mine go out there every year for the opener and a few more weekends throughout the year. We always fish at dark. We have never gotten a walleye in that area during daylight hours at all. I here of a charter captain or a local snagging one during the day but very rarely and inconsistently. We like to fish 12' of water or less for em this time of year. Tell me, what am I missing, that will put me on some of those fish during the day. Any info would be greatly appreciated

    White bass

White bass I live in the Saratoga area and fish all types of panfish all over the capital region. But we don't have any lakes or rivers that have white bass in em. We have white perch but they don't even compare to the size and battle of a white bass. I've only ever caught 1 and it was in the mouth of the Oswego river casting for eyes. I got to OZ 3 or 4 times a year and I would love to be able to get into a pile of white bass. If anybody knows any good spots for em (sandy pond?) within 30 miles or so of the Oswego river I would greatly appreciate any tips
  3. Great. Thanks for the info. I used bay rats the other day and didn't even get a hit on em. But I'll keep throwing them in the mix cause some guys swear buy em. That and I dropped about 200$ on em before the last trip
  4. So how do you get out more than 2 lines without boards? You just use lead core and spoons and the occasional bay rat stick?
  5. Thanks. I did just get a used kicker motor. We were wondering if it was a little noisy it was spooking fish but then we hooked up on a long A bomber only 50' back. Do you guys think otterboards are a necessity? We only have planer boards
  6. Favorite lures for brown trout and walleye in the spring Hey everybody. A buddy and I went out to OZ this week and only got a few browns. Everybody else around us was slamming doubles and triples. We put in 25 hrs in 3 days and ended up with 3 fish. I think a lot of the problem is that we didn't have any spoons. We used all cranks all week. We got em on a black and silver smithwick and a long A bomber chartreuse And then our usual F18/husky jerk/bomber lineup for walleye struck out as well. It was a really tough trip and I'm hoping some of you guys could shed some light what color spoons I should pick up ? and any other lures you've had success with consistently for browns and walleye im going back out in a couple of weeks and I wanna do better any input is greatly appreciated and good luck out there fishing

  9. I'm interested. 150$ for all of them?
  10. Nicely done. I'm relatively new to the lake. I've gotten some really nice eyes but I can only seem to get em after sundown and through the night. Do you get em out deep during the day? Do u fish drop offs or long gradual flats this time of year during the day? Any info you could share with me would be greatly appreciated
  11. Hey everybody. Happy to be on the site. I've been fishing Oswego harbor area. Doing descent. Wondering how the walleye bites been in other areas of the lake
