  1. I’ve been doing pretty good out of Irondequoit on the kayak as well. It’s a blast. Looks like you ran into a good size class there. Congrats and good job Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Highly doubt it Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. I would guess 5 feet maybe? I had my 7 ft rods in rod holders on my kayak and wasn't even close to getting under without pulling them out. Hope this help.
  4. Went a little east and Got set up in 65fow by 5:30a. Had 4 kings in the boat by 6. 3 on green alewife Mag spoon down 30 and 1 on green FF on dipsey 2.5 setting out 75. King bite slowed down so we went in for Browns just east of shipbuilders. Perfect green water and went 3/5 in a little over an hour. Green alewife was the hot spoon again. Down 10 over 17-25fow Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Hey fellas... forgot to put my rod in the truck after I loaded my kayak. Left it leaning up against the dock. It was a black and red rod (spider cast I believe) with a Pflueger spinning reel. There was only one truck left in the lot when I left so I don’t have high hopes but figured I’d try. Thanks in advance. Fishing was slow. Didn’t land any. Lost 2. East wind moved clear water in. The small pockets of green water held fish but just wasn’t my day. Good luck out there Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Here's a quick article.... may or may not answer your question. The laws listed apply all the time. Different regulations are in place due to flooding. 600 ft from any shoreline along Lake Ontario. There are a few spots on Braddocks that are 600 ft from a shoreline, but I think your best bet is to keep it to no wake. You're probably saving less than 5 minutes by getting up on plane legally, but a stop from the sheriffs boat is gonna take much longer than that https://greeceny.gov/news/469-supervisor-reilich-announces-speed-limit-restrictions-for-recreational-activities-on-ponds Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  7. Thanks guys. And thanks Gambler for the the help you've been giving Jon which goes straight to me as well. You've been a great asset to our success. Definitely was pretty bumpy out there but everyone manned their stations well and we made it work. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  8. Met the guys at the dock at 4:30. Went straight north and set lines in 180fow. Screens were blank for the first half hour and by the time we hit 220fow we decided to start heading east which would bring us to deeper water. First king came at 6:00 on green with black dot meat rig on 500 copper in 260fow. 2nd king came on the same rig in 330fow just 10 minutes later. Things were getting choppy at this point as we were watching a thunderstorm roll through to the west of us. Of course as soon as the waves pick up so does the action. In the next hour we would lose 4 more, land a rainbow/coho double, and pick one more king on a mag glow frog spoon down 80. Everything took shots. Green was the only thing consistent that I could see. Great morning. Back to the dock by 9:30 with 5 fish in the box. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Very interested. Location?
  10. Did the same. Started in 300 worked out to 450. Very cold very shallow. Wasn't marking anything. After and hour of no rods moving we trolled into laker territory. Did well with them. The big guy was released for another day Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  11. Stan B... Not sure what numbers you set on, but might want to try heading west a just little more. The difference between fishing in front of I-bay and fishing in front of Braddocks has been night and day for us. Nice report and good job Fly. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  12. Totally agreed with you on the I-bay thing up to about 5 days ago. It just took them a little longer to get here this year. We ran out to Sandy last weekend as well for the same reasons. However this weekend has been a different story. I had to head to work today, but our boat went 14/20 with 4 matures and a few nice steelies mixed in, all just west of the Genny. Sounds like Sandy was still well worth the trip tho. Great job and thanks for the report! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  13. Did well Sunday/Monday. 100 down over 160 was best. Pretty sure temps/Waters have changed since. There's definitely fish around tho. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  14. Yea he was a blast. Tail slapped the surface a couple times then made a couple big runs. Was unsure if it was King/steel/brown for most of the fight. Lots of high fives when he finally landed in the net. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  16. Went out yesterday afternoon trying for Browns. Found 45 degrees 50 feet down in front of hedges. We picked up a small King 30 down on a blue/white Koyote ugly spoon as soon as we set lines in 50fow 30 down. Then circled around and landed a 12 pound steelhead on a firetiger free slider on the 35 rigger. Pulled lines to go try and weigh it in for the derby but South Bay had already gone home for the day. Wish we woulda stayed out and kept plucking them out of the bait. Still a nice evening on the water Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
