I don’t mind the drive , we will be staying at 4 mile creek campground right on the shores of Ontario. We have never been to the falls so we going to spend a day or so there and a day fishing. If anybody has any ideas what we need to see while in that area please reply. Thanks in advance
Hello fellow fisherman, my wife and I are going to be near Niagara Falls in the middle of August for a week. Looking to book a guided trip for a day and would like to fish for kings. My question to you all is , is that what I need to be fishing for that time of year for our greatest success? We are coming from southern Ohio and not really wanting to catch walleye because we fish Erie thru the summer for those. Any advice on fish or charter recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Grandson shot a nice doe here in ohio. We where sitting in a double man ladderstand and he learned a lot about patience. He was using a crossbow with nocturnal lighted nock. We watched two does for about 45 minutes or so and then they walked away, he was discouraged. 10 minutes later they came back , doe's curiosity ended it for her. I was wanting him to hunt during our youth gun season but they are going on vacation. What's wrong with mom sitting up a vacation during youth season lol. Here's one of the Turkey's he shot this spring. Shot it with a Steven's 410 Turkey gun using federal heavyweight tss premium and shooting sticks. Those federal tss shoot extremely well. Picture is him shooting target at 35 yards or so. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
I'm with you meanmachine, I would rather watch those young ones than do it myself. My grandson ask me to lean down to him why we were on our way to the deer he shot and then he give me a big hug and said thank you grandpa for taking me hunting. That's what it's all about!!! Your right mean machine its accurate. I bought the 350 legend so I could start my grandson on deer for youth gun season. I sold a 45/70 and used the money to buy the legend. Ohio has a straight wall cartridge law for rifles and I new that legend would be more accurate than a 410 slug. We saw a really nice buck the first day and he couldn't get on it fast enough, but it worked out the last day. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Lol, he does well with a gun rest and a grandpa. He's been shooting Turkey the last two years with the new Stevens 410 off shooting sticks and red dot scope. The only problem this time was him finding the deer thru the scope. It took a few minutes but he came thru. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
