    I went threw the whole deal with the gill net. Emailed the DEC for the regs and specs. Sent that to Memphis nets. Got the net and only ever caught one alewife with it and it was dead. Hopefully you have better luck than me. I tried setting it out and leaving it, dragging it hooked to the boat, even dragging between 2 boats.     I dont think it makes much difference when the target is musky. I played around with using my rigger to get an inline spinner down just above the weeds and in my wash this past season. It was maybe 20 to 25 back. It worked well as I could crank up the ball and see the spinner and tell if it was fouled then just drop it back.     Buy the ones that have the closed eye or use some thin wire to twist around the bend. It will keep your leader from sliding down the frame. Not a cure all but helps. Sent from my LG-H820 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    Wow lots of info there . thanks . after the spark plug change its running better than it did when it was brand new. I think I my have had a bad plugs right from the start. I'm getting 300 to 400 more rpm now. I trolled today and it ran fine and didn't show any of the problems i had before. I wish I could get nonethondal 87 but only the 91 around here is nonethonal.
