We stayed 50 fow or less focusing on the silvers. LOTS of atlantics boated, just nothing big enough to weigh. Size 1 Chinook divers on a 2 setting out 13’-15’ were the ticket for atlantics and browns early morning, we had to adjust as the day went on. Small R & R spoons were preferred. 2.8-3.0 GPS speed was essential. Even lakers cooperated with the faster speeds. Picture of my son in law who was on the reel for the 2nd place 10lb bow. -Paul

Saw you out there that day. Waved as we were moving to plan B. With that being said we stuck to the skinny water all morning striking out for the most part boating only a handful, no where near what we were doing in the previous few trips. Was a beautiful morning tho!

Current lake level is no different than any other year. Lake level is consistent year over year at this time. History shows that Cayuga starts its annual rise around the 2nd week of March. I’ve been out 12 times since December 15th, tomorrow will trip 13. Been using Myers all trips, even busting out some ice last sunday saving myself a trip around the lake to Taughannock as I normally would have to do in January and February. Loving this mild winter. If there ever was a year to enjoy the winter fishery this was it!
