Nice work. That's awesome watching someone's catch there first salmon. I actually get more enjoyment out of that than me dealing in fish. Had my mom out today and it was a riot watching it. Sent from my SM-G892A using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

We were in the same bout. Only landed 1 but it was a nice king. Just shy of 19#. 230 fow on a white crushed glo green dot with a stud fly. Really starting to love that combo. Took 2 big rips before we started to see some 5'ers rolling in. It's too bad it would lay down. Had a good start til we were getting our butts kicked by lady O. Props go out to the guys that helped the Stipper that had engine trouble and got stuck on the pier going out. Sent from my SM-G892A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

After being on a charter during the LOC a few weeks ago and seeing how much easier it was it setting lines to where the fish were. So now I'm looking into a second sonar for the back. I'm currently running a Lowrance Elite 7 Ti. What is the best way to go as bout that ? Is there anyone who has a good sonar only ff ? Anything any of you guys prefer ? For now the Lowrance HDS is just out of the price range to get 2. Also is there a Ram mount to mount a fishhawk on a cannon track? Thanks for any help Sent from my SM-G892A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Slide Diver Lead Length
prayingmantis replied to Jager's topic in Questions About Trout & Salmon Trolling?
I run my slide divers on wire and then splice in 30' of mono. After the swivel I run about a 4' flourocarbon lead for my low diver. If you go too long it can be difficult when using meat rigs. On my high diver I run a 15' flourocarbon lead the length of the rod. On my high diver I'm usually running spoons. I just switched to slide divers this year and love them. Good luck Sent from my SM-G892A using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

Just an fyi. When you come up on the 19th it will be the last day of the LOC spring derby. I would register for the one day. There are always stories about someone catching a fish that would have won 1st place. You never know Sent from my SM-G892A using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

Check out posts from Yankee Troller. He posts some of the best info. He will usually have a handful of the best colors for the day. Seems like Citric Shad is on the list on most days. Skinny water use the S3. A little deeper the short shallows work good. S3 dive 3-5' SS dive 5-8' Some of the I've got recently BT candy Coho crusher Citric Shad Yankee Troller Sent from my SM-G892A using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Got out for a few hours today. Tested out the new kicker and got a few fish. Couldn't pick up any browns but slide out deeper and got a couple lakers. Nothing big but nice fish. It was good to be back out trolling again. Still a little muddy. Guessing out to about 30 fow. Gold seemed to be the ticket today -
