I had a diver question. I was think about changing my divers. Currently I'm running dipsies. The issue I'm having is that they don't seem to be going to the side very much. Even on 2.5 they seem to be more straight back than to the side. I was thinking about slide divers or Chinook divers. Does anyone have a preference with the divers ? Does any of them pull away from the boat more than another ? I run an 18' Stectum sport if that matters. Thanks for any help Unrelated to the divers. Did anyone do anything in that mess yesterday ? I was wondering what speed I should be doing for flies and meat rig. I have done ok on the spoons but have struggled with the flies. I usually troll between 2.4 and 2.9. Should I be going slower for flies ? Like this past Sunday I trolled 4 lines with flies most of the morning. I was coming back to the bar and decided to switch to spoons. I was just wondering how deep everyone was fishing ? Is it too soon to be back to normal ? I was heading out of Olcott in the morning and heading towards Wilson. I was assuming to start offshore I 500ish. The only thing that I have heard was that the 28-30 has been good. Is that still true ? I don't use cut bait as much as I probably should. With being if the buffalo area where do you guys get it from ? Most of the time I get it from we'd at Slippery sinker. But recently I got it from a place in Clarence, ny. It wasn't very good. It seemed dried out and old. Also how do you guys like to run them. I have 2 meat rig set up from the guys at ITO flies. They set me up with a flasher and a meat rig to go with it. If it matters this is my normal spread. 2 riggers, 2 wire divers and sometimes 2 planner boards. My thought is to run 1 on the rigger with the fishhawk and one on a diver. This is only my 2nd year trolling so the boat is still a work in progress.
