  12. Erie has the numbers but not the size. We were in Erie this weekend and caught 60 walleyes in 3 outings. The biggest was a 30 inch 8 pounder. We also got a 13+ and a 14+ lb. lakers. I’ve only ever caught walleye at bay of Quinn on Lake Ontario, can’t seem to find them anywhere else there. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. I have the Python remote steering system. I used it for the first time yesterday. I love it. No more standing on my head trying to hookup the steering rod. Took a little while to get use to but worked great. I didn’t know you could hook this up as an autopilot, it came with the kicker motor I bought. Pap if you have the information on hooking it all up ( web sight, exc. ) is really appreciate it. I love this think as just a steering system but if I can also use it as an autopilot I’ll be set. 16. In my opinion. This is a list from most important to least important. 1) fish finder- if you don’t have a fish hawk fish your marks. 2) gps- if not built into the fish finder. 3) kicker motor- for bigger boats. 4) autopilot. 5) fish hawk XD4 I’ve always been able to catch fish without a fish hawk. I would really like to have one but it’s not in my top 4 things I must have. Just when you think you have the fish figured out you realize you don’t. I’ve caught fish way out of preferred temp. 19. I am installing a python steering system in my boat this week. It’s a remote control steering system. You get a hand held wireless remote so there is no steering rod. I’ll be testing it this weekend and let you know how it works. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  20. Almost one million gallons of sewage dumped into Lake Erie David Vogan 11:33 AM, Jul 23, 2018 2 hours ago dunkirk | ny | new york | buffalo | DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WKBW) - About 990,000 gallons of sewage was dumped into Lake Erie over the weekend in Dunkirk. Officials say this happened about 7 a.m. Sunday off of Wright Park Drive. The amount of rain that fell across the area played a role in the sewage being leaked into Lake Erie. Officials say the discharge was partially treated with disinfection. The Buffalo National Weather Service reports that over two inches of rain fell in the Dunkirk region over the weekend. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  24. That’s got to fill you with pride? There are dam few people around that could build a boat by hand these days and even fewer that would not only complete it but use it as a daily driver. That’s great!! I do have a question. How much trouble did you have getting your boat numbers??? I’d love to build a boat someday. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  25. Water is getting pretty warm to catch trout or salmon inside of 40 FOW. Depends what the wind does to the warm water. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
