  3. that's a start. I usually pick up 3 or 4 new spoons every time I run across them. lol its an addiction!! wont be long youll have 300 or more. lol.
  4. I use 30# wire on my dipsys. And 40# braid with 30 feet of 20# floral carbon on the riggers. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  5. I believe you can hot spot from a cell phone but you don't need data you need a gps fix. unless your phone can send a gps position to your tablet you will need a bad elf or a external gps for your tablet.
  6. Your phone might not work as a hot spot for a tablet. Mine did not. I use an iPad and a bad elf for a gps. The map app I use is navatonics boating. It works great. The bad elf cost 150.00. Make sure it is blue tooth compatible. When you down load the map app make sure you down load the map for offline so you can pull it up when your not In WiFi. I use it in my boat so I don’t have to have a split screen and I use it in My rzr when we are going for a ride in some place new. If you have a tablet with a gps built in to it you don’t need a bad elf. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. There isn’t all that much stress. If your worried about put snubbers on your boards. I use Amish boards. There only about 15 inches long and 10 inches wide. They pull hard enough to pull 2 10 colors and a 7 color on each side. The rocket launcher was on the boat when I bought it. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  8. I haven’t seen anything in these pictures that scares me. It’s a beautiful boat. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  9. Your doing a great job!! I’m really impressed. I’d bet you could drum up some business remodeling boats. Class A job. I’d let you work on my rig anytime. Keep up the quality work. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  10. Mine are mounted to my grab rails on the side of my hardtop and the pulleys are mounted to my guid rails out front of the windshield. There about 6- 1/5 feet above the water line. They pull out nice. Not the greatest picture but it’s the only one I have until I get the boat out. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. I can’t talk you out of it. If I could swing it I would pull the trigger for sure. Great looking boat. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  12. This is great. My question is with so many eggs from so few females aren’t you afraid of not getting enough diversity in your jean pool? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  16. We launched at Captions Cove because we stayed there but the launch is open by the black north. the ramps are not in yet and there was no ice to be seen. the water in the river was 41 deg. the water in the lake was 35 deg. all the fish we caught were in the green water between the mud line and the blue water. Good luck.
  17. I really like the design. Do they fold down??
  18. Im with gill-t on this one. I had my dog out walleye fishing with us 1 time, never again. he got really clingy and sea sick.
  19. We just got back from point breeze. Fished 9 to 18 FOW. At 1.7 to 2.2 mph gps speed. We were pulling spoons and sticks 40 to 75 back on planers and riggers were 60 to 100 back and down 5’. Sticks caught all the fish. Best color was orange. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  21. Went 7 for 10 in a snow storm. Fished east to the ladders picking up 1 turned west and fished to the camp ground and back. Lots of action. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. My dad always uses an old Mitchel 300 spinning reel when I was growing up and use to spray it down with WD-40 before fishing with it every day. He would out fish me 2 to 1. After I started using it to he still out fished me but it wasn’t nearly as bad more like 20 to 18 or so. And it keeps your reel running smooth. Lol. I don’t use it all the time but I have and will use it when I see trout following that won’t commit. It does make a difference. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  23. Figures we are headed to Oak Orchard tomorrow night for our annual fishing weekend. I hope the river isn’t blown out maybe we can troll the river for Browns. Hopefully it lays down for Saturday enough to troll the lake for Browns!!! [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  24. I would maybe rethink the pvc pipe. you get 30 feet of pvc supported on the ends only and it will get pretty flimsy in the middle. I think I would go with conduit about 3". then you could run the tarp over the pipe and screw down a piece of aluminum strip 1/8" X 3/4" the length of your tarp to hold the tarp to the pipe. you could probably attach a big crank right on to the conduit also, as you will only have to roll it up once a year.
